Do you collect anything? |
| |
| I love frogs so when I was a teenage I started collection different types of frog figures. I have just around 500 frogs... I have stuffed frogs, glass frogs, plastic frogs, paper frogs and ceramic frogs. I have blankets, soap dispensers, bath towels, shower curtains, toilet brush holder, toothbrush holders, socks, slippers, clothing, plant holders and many many more things of frogs. My favorite is the red eye tree frog and whenever I travel to different place or a family member does they will pick me up a new frog for my collection. I have some from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Vegas, Wisconsin, Virginia, Michigan and Florida...I am running out of room in my curio for all of them but I still like to collect them. Is there anything that you collect? If so how many do you have? Are there any that are special to you? | | | | | |

| | That is something great to collect because there are so many different stamps that you never have to worry about having them all and it is so nice that your family gets some for you when they go out traveling. Thanks a bunch for your response neelimaravi | | | |

| | Hey froggieslover! Back when I was younger, I used to collect cards, (not baseball cards but if you heard of them... yugioh cards) and I loved playing with them for the fact that the gameplay is fun and it always changes. basically you are using math as you go along to keep up with lifepoints that you and your opponent have. You can google about yugioh cards if you like if it interest you. I had to stop though because it got TOO addicting! (lol) Some of my friends went pro off of this and won money in tournaments, but then they stopped for some reason. Its important to me because it helped me connect with a lot of my friends. | | | | | | |

| | I have never personally had the cards or played the cards but my son has had a few of the cards before as well as some pokemon cards. I don't think he really knows what he is doing with them although he pretends to because the rules seem to change everytime we play LOL.... Thanks a bunch for your response tbarker | | | |

| | It's always good to collect something you like. For me I don't collect anything particular, my wife likes beautiful tea cups and glasses, some other woman likes all kinds of little bottles of lique, some women likes the bottles of perfume. I know a guy likes collecting cash of different version hehe. Hobby can make life for colorful which I agree. | | | | | | |

| | I don't collect animals, but I do collect coins and stamps. I am not crazy about them, just try to get some different coins when I have chance. I got coins when I went abroad, and sometimes when I work with forigners, I get coins from them. I think both coins and stampls are quite traditional collections, lots of people are doing that, but people have different experience, so almost impossible that 2 people from different background could have exactly same collections. Everyone should have some hobby and I think coin or stamp collection is interesting. | | | | | | |

| | If I have the chance to go travel abroad and to other countries, I will sure collect coins like you. I think many people do that and I want to be like them also. Stamps would be great as well, but collecting coins for me is more remembering on the places that you've went. | | | |

| | I don't think I ever have. I have tried though but I haven't been much of a motivated person. It takes a while to get me determined enough to stick to something. But, once I do, that's it. I'm strange and I know it. as for collecting, maybe someday. Though George does have a plane and nascare collection. | | | | | | |

| | I am nuch like you in other aspects of life, I think with collecting however that it doesn't take much motivation to see a frog in a store, buy it and then bring it home and shove it in the curio cabinet Hehehe..I am sure if it took more than that that I wouldn't be collecting either. Thanks a bunch for your response kaylachan | | | |

| | I collect old music on old media such as records and 8-tracks. A neighbour of mine moved out of the apartment building today, and left a load of stuff behind, including a couple of 8-track tapes. My hubby saw the bag of stuff on the back padio, and brought in the 8-tracks for me to add to my collection. | | | | | | |

| | Wow that is so cool, my mom used to collect old records when I was growing up and had this really old floor model stereo that played both 8 tracks and records..I think that is way cool that you are able to still find some around after all the new technologies. Thanks a bunch for your response danish | | | |

| | Wow that is a lot of collections...do you still collect the chocolate wrappers? I was just wondering how they held up and if they received any mold on them. I think stamps and coins are probably the most collected but also a good choice because of the wide variety of them both. Thanks a bunch for your response 23uday | | | |

| | Over my life I have collected a load of different things. When I was little I use to collect dolls, then as I got older ir became Barbies. When I was a little older I started collection stamps and still ahve my collection put away. Some of the stamps may be worth some money later. Also, they mean a lot since my grandfather and my great aunt & uncle gave me most of them which all 3 have died since. At the moment I collect any to do with cows, firetrucks, ambulances, hospitals, and of course free samples. I think everyone has something they collect throughout their lives. My mom loves collect things to do with cats & dogs. My dad collects snowmobile, and car items. My older sister collect things to do with winnie the pooh. | | | | | | |

| | I agree that everyone at some point has collected something even if they did it without much knowledge of it or not that many of them. I used to collect koalas when I was younger and as I got a bit older it became Fear Street books and then when I became a teen I turned to the frogs and that has been the longest close to 10 years now. I think your stamps even if not worth real money are worth alot more because of them coming from grandpa and aunt and uncle that have passed on and sentimental value is always worth more than monetary value... Thanks a bunch for your response ricki | | | |

| | That is the great thing about collecting though you can do it for awhile, stop it and then come back to it again. Just because you haven't in awhile doesn't mean you can't again. Thanks a bunch for your response happy | | | |

| | Right now, I'm really addicted to shoes. Like, if I would go to the department store I would always go to that place just to look at some good shoes. For me, it's the best thing that would make me happy even just for a while. Anyway, I collected also belts before back in high school but I stopped because my allowance was not enough for me to buy some good belts. I think collecting something would represent your personally. | | | | | | |

I think all women would love to be able to collect shoes hehehe...my step daughter collects belts as well, she was just telling me last night that she got a belt in Georgia that has Obamas face on it and it says Obama for president on it...I think that would be a funny and weird belt to be wearing Thanks a bunch for your response joannaleed | | | |
