MyLot Friends

I just like to be friends with people that have a lot in common with me. They also have to be a good discussion writer too. So I can be interested in their discussions and more likely to give them a reply. A good topic is hard to find for me.

when it comes to mylot friends, i accept whoever requests me. mylot doesn't have a members section, and i'm too lazy to go around requesting people from posts.

The first thing I do is go check out their profile, and then I see what kind of answer they post to my discussions, and see what they have posted to other discussions and then I approve them, unless they are really terribly bad people! To this date, I have not had to turn down, but two people, and that's out of a hundred!

hi upsidedownpineapple when I first started making friends here at mylot they were older and mostly women but now some of my best friends here are from India and all over and much younger. the way they talk to me is so heartwarming. I may be a senior citizen but I love to be around people of all ages as we can talk about the things that everyone likes, and not some oldage patter I get so sick of hearing about constipation and arthritis and not being able to hear, I want to live each day so I welcome people of all ages.

I at least try to be nice to people and if they ask to be my friend, then I don't deny the request. But I don't go out of my way to become friends with anyone. I tend to visit topics of my friends, and if I know anything, then post it there.
