What is your favorite genre of music?  

I like rock, metal, and classical type music. Something about the technique and overall loudness of each attracts me.

Well I have an interesting story, my favorite music is soul and R&B, but I live here in North Central Texas, and Country music is predominant here!
For over 40 yrs, I have been around country music, have learned to play it, sing it, and listen to it, and around here it is the one that has made money for us at the clubs !
I still get a chance to listen to soul, and R&B, and blues, and I even play it in my band when I get a chance!
But all and all, I really love all types of music, it's just that I have a deep passionate heart, and 'the river runs deep' !

Trance, Ambiance and Techno is my favorite. I listen to lot of trance music. So that is my favorite you can say.

Hard drum and bass; also dubstep.
A lot of it is very english, unsigned artists trying to make it.
I'm not sure how much dubstep has reached america/other countries; not many artist I've found are more well known than around the scene.

I like many kinds of pop music, such as rock, latin,country and so on. When I wanna relax i can listen to dancing songs. Before I sleep i would like to listen to some country music.

My favorite is classical and good sacred, that is sacred that has a melody and does not consist of two notes played over and over again. Then after that comes country and the old time popular music that is the kind that has a melody and does not consist of a poem spoken in anger. I also like the old kind rock and roll, Elvis Presley and the like.

I usually joke and say that my favorite kind of music is "good." My favorite band is one that music industry professionals (from radio programmers to record store owners to label executives) have a tough time fitting into a category. They've been called everything from alternative to rock to "synth pop" to "nu romantic" ....

I lean more to the rock/alternative/punk side of the spectrum but I also like folk and country and "standards" (the Rat Pack, Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, etc)....

hi there! I love RNB and soul music. I sometimes listen to alternative rock and acoustic songs. I like almost all of music genres and appreciate most of its kind. I sometimes listen to old school as well, Mo-Town type of music is also cool. Pop rock and rock is cool too. Sometimes it really depends on how music was delivered, regardless of the genre and style...it is sometimes more of its meaning and lyrical composition it has.

I listen to most genres, provided that the song is beautiful lyrically and melodically.

I like pop, easy listening, dance, hip hop (more groove, less rap), alternative, and rnb (though most of new rnb songs nowadays seem to sound alike). I also find myself listening to Taylor Swift, but country is not my favorite.

I love old school rock. Those guys really know how to be bad. I love the beat of the music the lyrics. And they represent my bad side. Something that I will never be able to do. LOL.
