I've just been out in the nice scrunchy, squeaky snow to take this photo of our oak tree. I love to see the snow but I'm not relishing the thought of driving 10miles to work just after 6am tomorrow!! Do you have snow at the moment? Can you just sit back and enjoy its beauty?

It is not snowing here right now. It is very sunny and bright. But, a few days back, we had tons and tons of snow. One of the record braking years. But, we like snow, and we very much enjoyed seeing the snow fall. But, roads ger pretty slippery, and driving gets very dangerous.
The photo you took is so beautiful !

That's a pretty picture! It snowed here last night too. Our commute seems to be about the same; 10 miles (I just drove to work - I'm here right now.) It wasn't that bad though, but it wasn't a mega snow storm. I'd say, just be careful, drive slow, and give yourself extra time in case there's traffic, and you'll be fine!

I'll be ok as long as the gritting lorry makes it to the top of the hill where i live - otherwise I may get to the bottom a bit quicker than planned. Once I get to the main road it should be pretty clear. I'm not expecting to see much traffic on the move at that time of day on a Sunday.

wehave had snow here in newcastle for about 3 days only got a few inches but supposed to snow heavily today.
The main roads are fine here but estates are awful, and am sliding about lol, so if it snows again today prob build some snowmen as am lucky I work from home so no reason to risk myself on the roads lol,
Also great pic, the snow really is beautiful.

We've had heavy snow overnight but they have sent the snowplough up & down our road so I hope it'll be clear when I go out at about 6.15am tomorrow...& Thursday. I've just had an email from my son saying he walked the 2miles to his workplace in 6 inches of snow. They've told him he can go home but he's staying to warm up a bit first!!

I've been out the last 2 days (Weds/Thurs) On Wednesday, I spent 15 minutes digging my way off the drive but, 5 miles up the road everywhere was pretty clear. Thursday, the dashboard registered minus 13 and the inside of the windscreen was frozen but I got to work and back with minimum delays. I have a couple of days off now... just in time to go back on Sunday/monday which, I'm told, is when the next onslaught is due.

We have snow on the gound but at the moment it is too clod to snow. The weather ma sad last night we are going to stay very cold for most of the month..By friday our high is supposed to be in the single digits!! I'd rather have snow than this bitter cold. Especially since my husband is currently working in Trinidad and calls me daily to tell me how hot it is there.

I see from our local forecast that our temperatures are not expected to get above minus 1 Centigrade until at least Monday and more snow is on its way. When i left for work on Christmas Eve my car temp was minus 10. It was minus 1 when I got home around 4.30pm today. I'm sure the heat of Trinidad is lovely but I wouldn't want high temperatures all year round.
