I got pix of Khuay sleeping "on my lap" yesterday...with a "hangover"

Khuay in his usual sleeping position - Khuay will fall sound asleep and roll over on his back with his head over the side of the couch. Then he will slowly slide off the couch and land on his head...and he keeps sleeping this way!

Sorry I didn't have a chance to shift the picture! This is Khuay's usual sleeping position. He'll sleep on my legs like this, with his head hanging over the side of the couch. He'll slowly slide down my legs, and if I'm not paying attention he will suddenly slide down my legs faster and land on his head! He is one of the few cats I've owned that prefer to sleep on his back. Does your cat sleep in odd positions?

I only have Gissi and he sleeps on his back most of the time which certainly increases his Snoring lol and if he is cold he will also cover himself with his blanket or Pillow I have to admit I have not seen a cat sleep on their back before I had 4 Cats and none of them slept on their Backs

Funny picture!!! My cat is not sleeping in odd positions but she is sleeping in my back at night, so I am not able to see her position, but I can feel when she is stepping on me...

The Doctor - "contained" - just so you can see sort of what it was like
Oliver and Timus will turn over in our arms to their backs. I used to have a cat, Mekon, who would lie on his back all the time. and he used to do it so that we'd see him on his back in the same place he had been on his stomach just minutes before. I finally caught him rolling, and it was more of an easing over in his skin so he only actually moved about an inch from where he had started. Used to be amazing - we'd start dinner with him on his back on the other side of the room. By mid-meal he was half way across it, on his back and by the end he was behind one of us. Doctor didn't sleep or lay on his back a lot, but I caught a picture of him doing it once and had it converted into a picture...

Awe so adorable! My boy Toby likes to sleep sitting up, all stretched out and on his back with his paws crossed demerely in front of him. He looks like an angel, but only when he sleeps.

LOL! That's a real funny picture :-) When I was still in school we had to cats, brother and sister. The brother used to sleep on top of the couch, but he was really to big for it so he'd slide of the couch, wake up, look around and be really offended because he was convinced that someone had pushed him down. The cats in the stable sometimes sleep on top of the horses, mainly in the winter the horses have thick winter blankets on.
