Was there ever something you wanted so bad, but once you got it you really disliked it?
I'd been wanting the Wii Fit for a few months, and kept hinting to my husband as often as I could. I didn't really expect him to come through, times are tough and we had kids to buy gifts for. Right up until Christmas morning I seriously did not think I'd get it, and I was so depressed because I'd wanted it that bad.
But my wonderful husband managed to come through! I got the Wii Fit I'd been wanting so bad, along with a Biggest Loser game.
Christmas morning I tried it out. The Biggest Loser game was extremely boring. It wasn't anything like I thought it would be, it doesn't really follow along like the show at all, it just offers you some "challenges" to play, but there are only 4 which get old quick.
There was a game that came with the Wii Fit, and I did start getting into that a little bit, although that's rather boring too. There are a few different activities, but they get boring very quickly. There are some strength training excersizes which I enjoyed a bit, but the biggest issue with this game is it constantly makes me feel bad! It wants me to weigh in everyday... which gets depressing! A lot of the games are about balance, and the game keeps telling me I have horrible balance, which doesn't seem to be improving although I've played it daily for over a week.
Well I'm not enjoying either of these games at all, and now I'm wishing I never got the Wii Fit!

I'm not lazy, I was just expecting it to be more of a game. Instead it's just a few minutes of different exercises without an actual goal aside from weight loss. I'd much rather there be a goal or different challenges, that's the part I hate about it.

Well, I am so glad I didn't get one of those I had wanted it also and my mom wanted it for my little sister who is almost 9 and weighs almost 140 pounds so I am glad she didn't. She got her some dance thing instead where she has to dance off the weight but it is for kids and my little sister likes it. IS there a way to get the money back? But as I stated before.. it is crazy to get weighed in every day. We can' control our bodies from retaining water and such unless we are taking water pills.

lol yes I know how it is when we get our hopes and expectations up and get disappointed. Im sorry they turned out so boring. I wanted jewelry so bad a few years ago. He got me some pretty earrings that broke as soon as I took the back off! I ask for nothing now and find I am never disappointed! He comes through with a great and practical gift. This year I got a new laptop. No complaints here!

Hopefully another one will come along that you do like...
I can't think of anything I really wanted that I ended up not liking, but it reminds me of the late 1980's when my cousin was crazy to get an Epilady. She didn't want to have to shave, and this wonderful device quickly, electronically and "painlessly" yanks the hairs out by the roots.
She was able to get hold of a used one and she started off on one leg. It didn't hurt at first, but by the time she got over to the other leg, she was just screaming in pain.
She didn't keep the Epilady long.

The balance games on the wii fit game that comes with the balance board are really silly. I think though that you have to have the sensor bar just right, I mean aligned with you and the balance board or it gets off track, atleast that's my theory. I don't know if it has anything to do with it or not, I also think that the mats that come with the balance board bunch up and cause a bit of disturbance with the balance, not sure though.
So the biggest loser isn't the best game? Ah well I wanted to try that. I wouldn't give up on the wii fit game yet though, and if you were to give up, just sell or trade the game not the balance board as the balance board can be played with other games I do believe!

Nope! I think long and hard about something before i decide whether or not i want it. LOL Or, if I am not sure what I want, I ask for money. My family is great about giving me money for christmas. I have been very lucky with the gifts i have requested and received, and have always loved my choices.
