Underwater Car Is the money worth it?  

I think it really depends on what country you live. If your country really gives you a lot of opportunities and you can afford it why not? But if you live in our country, it think it would be a waste of money since we can't even afford basic services and there aren't really that many opportunities to be able to afford such a thing.

I'm sure everyone thinks of buying something out of the ordinary once in a while. But when reality hits you got to prioritize.

nykel88 hi I think maybe just for the pleasure of seeing this car really doing what it did in the movie it is worth it. I think this is fascinating
technology and may have some practical use someday. I have no idea about the licensing of it but it was a fun video to watch.

I don't know why anyone would want an underwater car. But you can bet if they become popular, there will be some idiot that runs out of fuel and has to be rescued!

Funny how movie sometimes can predict the future right and sometimes it gives me the goosebumps. It is fascinating how inventors think and create new technology. I just hope bad movies with scary theme will not move into life only good ones.

Going back to this fascinating car if this will be manufactured and be sold into market; I think they should only give one plate number as a normal cars has because it only has special features. But I think it will be better if the person riding that car don't get wet as they are in formal suites. For me this kind of car is a solution for flood and bad weathers.

While that sounds like a far-off dream I realy doubt its a reality. And, no even if I could drive I wouldn't want or need something that could travel under water. That's what subs are for. What's the point of a car/bsub conbo? That video is probably someone real board I doubt that a car could actually last under water long.

i car which can go underwater has lots of advantages.. this concept will cause us to get rid of bridges in future.. wont it be wonderfull... and also this can be a major way to attract tourists to small islands which has beautifull beaches.. i dont know what will happen to the licence.. we might have to get another license for underwater cars..

The car will be a bit out of the traditional market.When a consumer thinks of buying car he or she thinks of the various needs that the person has.Like if you have a big family you will go for a mini van or if you have a girlfriend you will go for a sports car.I am sure in the next few years no one will be thinking, do i need to go underwater with my car.The car right now is for the rich and famous who will buy the car as a collectible.Though the car is a step to the future.Who knows in the coming decades we will be driving across the pacific ocean on a high way under the water.Then we surely will be needing a license to drive under water.
The main point to note about the car is how human imagination can bring things to a reality.Cars like this one, I have seen in bond type of movies.The man who thought of such a car several decades ago is now a reality.This is truly a achievement for the human race.
I hope to own one of these in the future, i will really feel like James bond..
