Relaxing Cat Massage   

My cat kind of does this, but I don't let him. Even though his claws are trimmed down it can hurt after a while. And, I can only tolerate so much. But, at least he doesn't do it very often. he just perfers to "massage" the furnchure. George, my partner, doesn't like that too much, but oh well. I'm not stopping him now.

hi nykel88 I think I am in love,he he with your kitty Tiger. He sure is cute. I had one female cat, all black we called her Midnight and she would do that, massage my tummy and smetimes my legs, I felt just awful when we had to find her another home as we were moving into an
apartment that did not let you have pets, the people we gave her to
adored her so that part was okay,its just that she was my cat, she preferred me to the rest of the family he he.

We have an old cat who does this marvelous massage too. When she sees mom relaxing on the sofa she will quickly jump on her lap and put her paws on her abdomen and start doing her massaging like marching on the belly. She will do it until mom say enough and put her down. But she won't massage every member of the family but has her favorite candidates.

Tuti does. She gets up on me and works on a shoulder or arm (I prefer the shoulder) and unless her nails are really long, they don't get involved. I've had a few cats that can do that, but Tuti is really good about not having the nails get in the act.

The only bad thing is she's lost a lot of weight and so she doesn't have as much to bet behind her massages as she used to, but she's good about putting a warm compress on the area after she's done (she lays down on the area.)

I've got three cats and they only do that when I pet them. Otherwise they do not give massages. Those messages, by the way, are a sign of love from the cat to you. What more can you wish? :)

Hi nykel88! I don't have a cat-- only dog, a big pitbull. I used to have a cat before when I was young, but I don't remember that she did do us any massage. Well your cat is good and very interesting. I also love to be massaged, that is really good for it is a big savings for you and your family . I can imagine how relaxing it is. I used to see my cat before doing like arm exercises, as if she was punching the pillow, I think that is what your cat is doing to your tammy and back as well.

Cat massage spa? That is a good idea huh! That is new...

Oh great, you and your cat are in love. lol ^_^ Seriously, we do have 2 cats but we don't let them come inside the house, though sometimes they did when they just sneak in but then we bring them back outside. It's good that you have a very special relationship something (LOL) with your cat. I'm not really an animal type of person. Though we have a dog and 2 cats, Im not that close to them. :( but sometimes I just pat them and give them foods.

All three of my cats do this. I guess it's a natural instinct. PS one of my cats is named Tiger also...
