It should but it would have a better effect and make them feel ashamed if someone who had been saved by this nice German lady appeared in front of the judges and the whole thing was televised. I am sure the red faces, oops, and trying to hide from the television audience would have a great effect then someone who is not even Jewish and who was safe in England as a babe wrote to them.

One of our prime ministers Lester B. Pearson got the Nobel Prize. Now I am wondering. But then being conservative I would have anyway, but then everyone thought he did a great thing.

I think it was something like the Quebec separation issue, but it was in the 1960s and I was interested in other things then. But at least Pearson did something. Obama did not. They expected him to do something and took his promises as gospel. Now I do not want to bring up the race issue, but it seemed that they fell into the fallacy that all --- men are honest and above board and are always truthful, can walk on water, levitate, etc.

80 thousnd man made chemicals, not found in nature. The reason the ozone problem has reduced so much is because many countries banned the biggest causes of the problem and what we ended up with are refrigerators that run on a quarter of the electricity that they used when using these damaging chemicals. We banned many aresols that were responsible and yes that has been over the last thirty years and the earth has started healing it's self.

What I don't understand is why everyone thinks it is a bad thing to treat the earth with a little respect. Even if the science were still out on this hurting the earth look at what it is doing to people. America is the greatest user of chemicals and our cancer, autism, heart disease, are by far the worst in the world and go up expodentially every year. Autism is 25 times higher in America then any other country.

We have some really bright people with some great ideas in how to produce food, electricity, energy and transport our selves around without killing our next door neighbor. I run my car on 30% Hydrogen which is not perfect but makes it run more efficent and 80% cleaner than when it left the factory, and it will last longer, what is wrong with improving our lifestyle and the earth at the same time???

Exactly my point. We don't allow the use of r-12 or many of the arosol's that were the biggest cause of the ozone depletion, and as a result we have much better refridgerators then we had 20 years ago so it was a win win for the earth and the people living on it.

I understand that. But I believe that the Earth has been constantly changing and cleaning itself. I find it ridiculous to think that we would ever make such a difference. I refer back to what I said before, being a good steward of the Earth is important. Taxing cow farts will NOT fix a dang thing.

Well, I just want to make such people understand that though some scientists and activists have their theories that may not be very logical, the fact still remains that global warming is real.
