What is the absolute craziest thing you have ever had stolen from you? Were you present when the theft took place? Is it something you could laugh about later? Share your experience!

Its a secret, shhhh don't tell anyone, I have a certain reputation to uphold. LOL My hubby had bought me as a joke a green french tickler, we called it the green weinie. It came up missing, we have no idea what happened to it. Yes it was something that we could laugh about.

Thanks for the laugh, Polly! (LOL) We're not telling anyone - he he. This is exactly the point to the discussion - the craziest thing ever that got stealing (or is missing in action). I can definitely appreciate your honesty!

This is a good question and it is one I can actually answer because I actually have had something stolen from me,as I have mentioned several times to you I work at Wal Mart, and when it was cold outside I would wear my fathers ski mask to keep my face out of the cold air, well one day it was warmer so I took it off and put it in the buggy on the mule we use to push the carts, and I had a lot of carryouts that day and I went to lunch, and when I can back the ski mask had been stolen out of the buggy, I am glad it did not have my name in it,someone could have used it to rob Wal Mart and then it would have come back to me lol, which would be luck, and I would not want to get blamed for robbing my own Wal Mart lol.

I was thinking the exact same thing, that the person who stole it was probably taking it to go out and perform a burglary! I suppose it's better it wasn't something of value. Did you get a new one yet? LOL

Hmmm... When you bring something home from the office, it tantamount to stealing. Well, I brought home a fax post-it. Yeah, that small strip of post-it that you attach to faxes that you send off. I forgot to return it, and eventually forget to return it when I left work. Thus, I stole it. hehehe.. It's pretty cheap, but since it's not mine, yeah, I stole it. So send me to jail. hahahaa... As for something that was stolen for me, a good story (a real story) that's funny in a way is when a friend of mine got out from her office. She was waiting for a taxi to come by when she felt as if her bag got lighter, when she turned, a man was holding on to her wallet shocked as they were face-to-face. She quickly said, "That's mine!", the man returned the wallet to her bag and ran! hahaha.. Another one, a different friend, we were in college then. As she was entering the school gate, the thief tried to steal her cellphone in her bag, only to have the tassle of the cellphone stuck to the zipper of the bag. As the tassle was freed she turned, the thief threw the cellphone back at her. hahaha.. Priceless.

That is SO funny mostly because your friends were able to get their things back, but the best part is that the thieves were not successful. Makes for a very comical situation to look back on later! Thanks for sharing, friend.

This story happened many years ago when I was a child. I don't remember the things that happened, but my mother has told me the story. One day she had some old things that she wanted to throw away, and while she was carrying things from the house to the car, someone stole one of the bags that she had put on the ground close to the car. The thief must have been pretty disappointed when (s)he opened the bag, because it contained my dirty diapers!!

Wow, that thief definitely got a prize that day! Isn't that funny? I can't believe someone would be that desperate to steal something - ANYTHING - that he would just grab at it and take it. However, it's probably for lack of time that this person just grabbed whatever could be taken quickly. How funny!

The strangest items Ive had stolen from me.... My purple lipstick - Seriously.. How many people wear it purple! My undergarments - Yeah, I don't wanna think about it... A photo of my friend's children - Freaks.... Love letters from an old boyfriend - Okay, someone was seriously bored\ My riding crop - Embarrassingly, when I sent my daughter's friend upstairs, she went to the wrong room, raided my belongings, plundered this, and snuck it outside. Recovered and I destroyed it. I don't think I wanted to explain this one to her parents, but at 9 years old, and my daughter being in the hallway, she should have listened when she was told which room was whose My pikachu stuffed animal - I guess someone thought it was cute or wanted to hold an epic battle with Squirtle. PI-KA-CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! I wasn't home when any of this stuff was stolen, except the riding crop and it went out the door right under my unsuspecting eyes!

Years ago someone broke in my apartment and stole a VCR, lucky one was not there. Anther time my A/C was broken but I was inside at the time and someone tried cut the screen to get in and as they did I took the broom after them as they creaked in, glad I am that they left.

At least you were there the second time they tried to get in. That's horrible that someone would try to steal those things from you. How did you feel when they started to come in while you were there? I would feel violated like someone was intruding on my personal space, which they would be. I would've knocked them out and then called the police! I probably wouldn't have been so nice...
