I have 3 kittens, 2 blue British short Hair & a lilac Scottish Fold. I love them so much i have spent over a thousand euro to give them a nice home & nice toys & the best foods. I see to it that i play with them at least 10 mins a day. They get embraces & kisses from me everyday. They are updated too with visits to the Vet. And they have the nicest Drinking fountain. How about you, how do you show love to your cat/kitten?

Awe, your kitties must be so happy to be with you. I play with them, I kiss them (they pretend to hate it but I think maybe they don't....lolol)I chase them. They really like to be chased and some will squeal with delight when they are running from me. :D I buy them toys and let them sit in a can of catnip for a week or so then give it to them. They soo love that! I hug them and pet them. Lovie likes to be picked up and carried downstairs for breakfast. When I go to the basement he will wait by the door for me to pick him up and carry him upstairs. One likes to go out on the porch and after he has got his fill of breakfast, he will go to the door, meow and scratch at the door and look at me pathetically until I open the door for him and the others rush out to see outside. I love my kitties!

My cats don't really like to be kissed, but they put up with it if I don't put my face in theirs, but let them come to me

I sometimes think I spend more on him than I do on myself. Actually I probably did in Nov. when he was sick and had to have blood tests, xrays, an MRI and steroids. But it was worth it and he is better now. Mostly he just likes little things like catnip and a rubdown with his favorite brush. Both of which I love to give him.

Cats are expensive when they get sick! Oh yeah, going to the Vet reminds me now of getting tablets for my kittys. Its time for their 2x/yr tablet (against worms). I dont know how its called in English. Its called here Wurmkur.

Moomin gets very spoilt, he has good food and his toys, he gets fussed over, petted and groomed, he has all my attention when he wants it. I admit to spoiling him rotten but I wouldn't want to be without him

thanks for sharing your way of loving your cats. Pets have their way of filling something void in our lives - thats why we love them. :-)

I show love for my 2 cats with everything I do with them. I play with them a minimal of an hour each daily. I feed them, pet them, hug them, and give them gentle headbutts. I didn't used to headbutt them, but they do it to me frequently so I figured it is their way of showing love. I also allow them to sleep with me,or on top of me as they prefer.

It sounds like your kittens are very lucky and blessed to be yours. I am good to my 2 cats and 3 dogs too. They get good food, good snacks, fresh water everyday. I wash their sleeping blankets and beds every week. Keep the cat litter fresh. Let the cats sleep with me. I'm not looking forward to the flea season tho. I hope some of the snow killed them out.

How do I show my love to my cats. Yes I have three cats; their names: Tiger the eldest, and the twins is Silvester and Felix. My routine is very simple for the three of them; three meals a day, consists of fish fillet, rice and vegetables. Yes green leafy vegetables. I change their beds every week, I'm not that rich but when they're sick, I give them medicine through the form of tablet mixed with water. When I get depressed, I just hug and play with them. I could not afford a drinking fountain but I change their drinking bowl every now and then. My eldest even buy a cat food every payday. Cats are very lovable. Sometimes they are jealous if you do not mind them. For five years they are my companion; they have different personality, Tiger's very lovable, Felix is very intelligent (he knows how to make his eyes beautiful when I tell him to) and Sylvester is very naughty but charming.

Sounds like you're doing good to me. Of course 10 minutes a day might be not so much time spent with them. I think that physical affection is a large part of loving your pet. Then again my cat HATES physical contact. I have to love her from a distance.

10 mins is the least time i spend with them. MOst times its more than that. My girl kitty likes it to play hide & seek. She hates to be in the arms or be carried. The 2 boys blue are more affectionate. Wouldn't mind staying in your arms & sleep. I agree with what you said, physical affections is impt part of loving your pet.

I do my best to take good care of them. I love them both very much and they deserve everything that I can get them. I don't buy expencive name-brand food, but I make sure they go to the vet. The vet is a higher price but its worth it for the care they recieve. that's more important to me.
