Do you play favorites to your nephews and nieces?

No, I wouldn't be likely to visit them and i dont think it would bother them in the slightest. it is not a case of not enjoying having kids around...I have worked (very happily) with children for years. They are all adults now with their own lives to live. I hear about them briefly when i speak to my sister-in-law on the phone.

That's sad. Haven't you thought of visiting them? I mean, are you fond of kids in th first place? Because it's kind of hard to establish an emotional connection with kids if you don't really seem to enjoy having kids around.

But why don't you want to visit your niece or your nephews? Don't you want to be recognized by them? Even if you've worked with children for years, it's still different to be with your family and relatives isn't it?

yep, one niece - and, to top off being a spoiled brat, she was ALSO the ONLY grandchild on either side for the first 16 years of her life! Since then her mother's side has produced (or adopted) 3 more.

Wow! I believe that despite of your niece being a brat, she's still very adorable. Like what is her age? I think your niece is very cute.

Oh so you only have 1 kid I mean niece only? Well that does not surprise me at all if your niece is a spoiled brat. LOL!

That's cute. In my case, I am not really that close with my other nieces but I would strongly agree that we all have a connection and we can all meet half way. I just don't like or enjoy too much with some of my nieces who are at times very spoiled.

I just think it's easier to get gifts for girls. Whether they be my own kids or nieces. There are far more nicer clothes/dresses for girls!

Yes I agree. If I'd have my own kids I prefer to have a baby girl. Even if I don't have yet kids of my own, I enjoy staring at little girls wearing summer dresses or leggings.

Yes, so favoritism applies in your case? LOL! At times I also am guilty of that. But in my scenario, they visit my parent's house not all at the same time so I could really spend time with them and get to know them more. I just don't want to miss their childhood days.
