Bachmann Urges Constituents Not to Pay Taxes!!  

ok Annie, as much as it pains me, I have to agree. even if what they are doing is wrong, it will not help your cause to break the law in response. I think Bachman went over the edge on this one.

That woman is a "Blooming Id1ot" she should be the first one the IRS audits!

A law passed by use of briber and fraud is against the law,so you think Obama,Pelois,Reid can break the law and we the American people are to lay down our freedom,liberty and rights with out a fight?
It is unconstitutional to place man dates on health care,they can not force a illegal law on the American people legally.
Millions of us Americans will not sit back and shut the hell up and watch our country become another dictatorship like IRAN or CHINA.
If they illegally pass this health care bill many millions of us American citizens will rise up against this vile government.
Annie 52% of the people in your own state is against this democrat health care bill.
A a whole over 60% of the American people are against this health care bill,few Americans want to see our tax payers raped any more then they have already been.
Few Americans want to see 85% of the insured most likely lose their coverage and for dam sure pay higher premiums.
Most Americans do not want government hand outs we are Americans we work for what we have and we are proud of this.

If they pass the bill legitimately, then yes, we have to follow the law -- until we repeal it. But if they pass it illegitimately, then the bill is illegitimate, and we don't have to lay down for this.

Annie, I'll be the first to admit Bachmann is a nut, and she is. But she really does have a point here. I know you'll support your party regardless of how they violate the constitution, but this is a disgusting and unconstitutional way of getting a bill into effect and it is quite literally pissing on the graves of the founders of this country.

I know you think the tea party people are so horrible because MSNBC told you so, but this is the kind of crap that caused the Boston Tea Party and it is just going to feed the tea parties right now.

FYI, cheating your taxes secretly and openly protesting an unconstitutional tax are two entirely different things. I at least have a measure of respect for people who openly protest a tax for ethical reasons. I'm not saying it's the best thing to do, but what are you supposed to do when the government is literally running amok and all three branches are violating the constitution in every way imaginable?

Annie, Daschle SPONSORED the bill to use force in Iraq. Now I wouldn't put it past the moron to do as you said, but everyone who knew anything about him would know he was full of $hit. Aside from that the war in Iraq was declared following all procedural rules and it was not illegal no matter how many times the anti-war crowd says so.

That lady thinks she is a revolutionist..that is sweet, at least I think so.
But here's the deal..
This is America..martial law will step in and make people do what they don't want to do.

Wait....wait..wait. Are you telling me you don't have a problem with that???? Sorry, I simply could not overlook that statement. You cannot possibly be able to look at me with a straight face and tell me you would approve of such a measure.
While I agree not paying one's taxes is pretty bad advice to follow in general, if a bill passes by such an alice in wonderland method such as Slaughter suggests ...it isn't law. There is simply no way around that, nor should there be.

She is not the only one calling for it. Other elected officials have said that we should with hold our taxes...until the government acts responsibly with it. NO more BS ear marks, cuts the waste...etc...
But in teh same breath they also say if you do it be prepared for the IRS to come after you. It is called civil disobientance.

Once congressman even said for people to not pay their taxes until members of cabinet and congress paid theirs. that was when the scandel broke out about so many of them owing back taxes. He said to send the IRS a letter saying when "such and a such" pays their taxes... I will pay mine.

A small percentage doing it would not do anything. But if we all stoppped paying...well teh IRS can't come after all of us. It would get the governments attention. But I don't see it happening. Most of us have our taxes taken out of our paychecks automatically.
