Pre Admission test  

Hello Sir,

In every place the education turned as a business. Since government schools failed to keep the standard of education in a great way, private schools are in high demand. But there is no transparency in their admission procedure. Here in Delhi it is a matter of controversy in every year. Parents are forced to depend the judiciary system for justice. The rules are getting changed every year. Now the interview/test for small kids is banned by government, instead they can interview parents. There is a competition to get admission in highly reputed schools. The monthly fees are so high and common people can’t imagine educate their children in this school. Now there is a new trend to develop the functions of government school in this place. I hope this will be positive trend and will develop tremendously in future (the standards of education in government school progress than earlier).

About your son’s school, if they want to tell the answer to kids, why can’t they to avoid this nonsense. There is no need to test the skills of the kids in this way. If you feel the convent schools are better then better seek an admission there only.

We have 3 types of schools here ie..Goverment schools, Government aided schools (Mission schools) and private schools. The education department is responsible for placing students in every schools except for private schools where they have to sit for admission tests to qualify them for admission. The government schools here aren't that strict but they classify schools under different category like A, B, and C. A schools are those that normally excel in public examinations. They are mostly in urban areas.

Well a good school is always matters when it comes to kids education. But some parents are over concerned that they wanted to have a extreme best school, which is beyond their budget. What i suggest is yes government schools are worst but not all cases. I seen kids who topped from govt schools and possess same knowledge as that of others. I suggest is a good school well as you said convent is best, but i am against people who go for sophisticated schools, which charges more!

Hope you are doing good.
education has become a business these days and all the school management are busy cashing the business as much they can. The quality of education has become secondary for them, its money above all. As you pointed they will help student to get the exams cleared but its student who will suffer in future because if this habit. I thought that this helping hand is not available in the exam room but after knowing this. This is just a hopeless.
Govt schools are doing this to be eligible of getting admissions in the next session. If there are students with good marks, then only parents will think of admission of their son/daughter.
In some sense we are also responsible for this scenario, all the parents are running behind their children to score 90 % in the exams, they are not ready to accept less % as that is a matter of pride.
We should help students to learn and study but not in the examination hall. we are making them handicap.
Let's give them best help out of Examination hall, they will come out as best.

unlike 2 decades ago, education in public schools is what all parents want for their children because it is supposed to be very high in standards.
but through the years, the kind of public school teaching we all wanted slowly diminished. i wonder why. teachers i see dont even know how to fluently talk in english. that is very very sad.
teaching in private schools nowadays are much better than the public schools. they have retained if not all the standard of what we call good education. they have retained the discipline too.
the proper authorities have to do their homework so that the educational system is improved so as not to be left behind by the private schools.

well its true that nowadays the pre enterance tests are very difficult and expensive too it should be easy and not at all expensive!and more the invigilators even charge more than the normal form and divide the money between themselves!and do this kind of practise!

As of right now, my daughter is going to our neighborhood public school. The reason that we made this decision for her is because of the fact that our neighborhood school is well ranked based on the state testing system. In addition to that, I feel like the extra curricular activities that her school offer are superior to those that are offered at the private schools that are around here. Finally, I don't see the point in spending a lot of money for an education that is no better than what she would get at our neighborhood school.

I put my kids in public schools and grand ddaughter and grandson are in public school but in early grdes SO dont see any of this happeneing yet .
