| | blind typing, what you could do if you want to learn it, is to place coloured stickers on the letters of the alphabet, like 3 red ones, then 4 yellow ones, etcetera, and then just practice. | | | | | | |

| | No not anymore, but I used to. When you finally get used to typing with the QWERTY keyboard you won't have a hard time getting all the words correctly even without looking at the keyboard. LoL, especially if you're forced to hurry up. | | | | | | |

| | No, I don't look at the keys.. it slows me down to look at the keys.. I was taught in high school how to type.. and I've taken many computer classes where we had timed writings... I'm very fast typing.. so looking is just plain slow...and I make mistakes when I look. I just look at the computer screen. | | | | | | |

| | of course not! heheeh just follow the steps below: 1. put your index fingers in letters f(left) and j(right) 2. memorize the corresponding letters. asdfg for the left hjkl; for the right notice that the index fingers have two letters fg and hj it is a long process... if you really want you can practice typing. there are a lot of downloadable typing master program wherein you can practice typing. lucky i am because i have studied typing... so typing is a problem no more.. | | | | | | |

| | I have been typing for 36 years of my 53 years of age. I learned how to type in high school. I am so thankful that I learned and it has supported me through 32 years of working. There are typing books out there that will teach you how to type without looking at the keyboard. Its just the matter of keeping your fingers on the second row of letters and moving your fingers to the letters you need. Its really easy once you know where each letter and each number are on the keyboard. | | | | | | |

| | I look at the keyboard when I type. Many years ago I learned to type without looking at the keyboard, but I have never been very good at it. I took typing lessons in the 8th grade, we placed something in front of the typewriter, so that we weren't able to look at the keys while we practiced. We learned how to type, which fingers to use on which keys etc, but today I have developed my own system, and when I type I use 4 fingers instead of 10 fingers, and I always look at the keyboard. | | | | | | |

| | I'm a very fast typer but I do look at the keyboard rather than the screen. My hands do move pretty quickly so I don't see many of the keys I am pressing because my hands are constantly hovering over the keyboard. I guess looking at the keys is just a habit. | | | | | | |

| | When I took typing in high school my teacher wouldn't let us look at the keys while we typed. Over the years I didn't always adhere to this practice. But when I started typing a lot again I made myself go back to the good habits, so now I don't look at the keys anymore. | | | | | | |
