Rides at amusement parks (Enchanted Kingdom, Ocean Park, Disney Land. etc)  

There's not any of those kinds of big name amusement parks anywhere around here except for a 4 hour drive away. There is a park though that's not well known, yet it has almost all the same kinds of rides. My absolute favorite is the roller coaster! Not the super coasters, but the old fashioned kind built of wood platforms, it's a totally different experience. I always either choose the front car, or the last car. On an old wooden roller coaster, the back car actually hops off the track when hitting certain places in the ride. (Talk about a brain rush!) I love the bumper cars too. The one thing I absolutely won't go on is one of those cable cars (the kind that hangs from one pole on a track.) Many years ago my girls and I were stuck on one when a really bad storm came up. The winds pushed us almost sideways hanging there, and I said never again lol. Hope I can get to Disney some day, I hear it's great!

I was able to visit Enchanted Kingdom about 4 years ago. I also went to Star City and other amusement parks in our city. But I am not really enjoying that much in going into these places. I am scared with the rides.

My favorite is Disneyland I always feel like a kid when I am there. When I go with my friends I tell them right off the bat any character I see I have to get my picture with them. The rides I love so many rides there. My favorite is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad the one with the train going through. I also love Fatansmic what a great show.

My second fav is Universal and I love The Jurassic Park Ride that is the best ride ever.

Third would be Sea World because I love animals.

I don't care for Six Flags because I don't like those types of rides where you are hanging in the sky and flopping all over the place. That is to scary for me.

My favorite things are the rides. I love Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios, Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, and Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom. I also love the Hulk Coaster at Islands of Adventure, Flight of Fear and the Volcano at King's Dominion....
I also just love the atmosphere of parks...if that makes much sense. They're places where you can forget about your day to day problems.

i like rialto ...its really cool......most of the rides are all good though the one i wanted the most is the moment I'm spending with a love one.....the fun memories you have shared during the amusement part experience.

I never enjoyed rides. :| It only makes me dizzy and scared. huhu

I love theme parks.

there aren't any good ones near me, but there's a few quite close to where I used to live, so sometimes when I visit friends we go there, and we do take the occasional trip to Alton Towers, which is a long way north of us, but it's THE big one in the UK. I can't wait to go again and ride 13, which looks amazing.

I actually had my hen weekend at Alton Towers, and we stayed at the hotel in their Sleepover Suite, so we spent the days at the park in Pyjamas and dressing gowns, which was great fun.


my favourite theme park is Alton Towers, but my favourite ride is Saw at Thorpe Park, which is one of the parks near where I used to live.

Hi! Your post reminded me of my last trip at Enchanted Kingdom. I was there with my now-bf, but then-suitor. It was fun and memorable because there were so few people!!! We rode the Log Jam (?) twice without having to get off and line up again. We rode almost all the fun rides twice! Since there was a line at the Rio Grande, we couldn't do the same. But the line was really short so we were able to ride it twice in a span of 30 minutes!

My favorite rides at EK are the Anchors Away, Log Jam, and Rio Grande. I haven't ridden the Space Shuttle (and I feel really lucky that it's always under maintenance when I'm there). I think I will die. lol.

Hi pierrella. That's so good you guys had a blast and enjoyed your stay at Enchanted Kingdom. What I love about in an amusement parks are the challenging rides that freaks me out and make want to overcome it. I love Space Seattle so much that I rode it several times and got very dizzy afterwards, lol. It's fun to go there most especially when you're with a group of friends. Only then you will realize those who are afraid and chicken-out to try the rides, lol! Lastly, I'd love to see the fireworks like, everyone stops down for awhile, grabs their cameras to capture the moment and just enjoy it until it's done. It's true that it's very tiring but the experience and adventure is just priceless. :)
