This make me thing back to when I had cancer in 2007, my sister was with me, when the nurse told me, all I could do was cry, I went to work the same day my, I was very upset, I just cried a lot that day, I lost a lot of weight, my weight went down to 104, my hair fell out, I couldn't eat from the chemo, they gave me, when I had my surgery they only took out the lump, which I am glad of your mother is a very strong woman and she is going to get through this.

Hi chantalgiardina, I have lost a lot of loved ones but my own health continues to be good. I'm not sure if anyone can say how they will react until it happens. I think that your mother-in-law is handling it well and you are right to be proud of her. That your husband is concerned simply means that he is a good son. Blessings.

i am sorry to know about her.. it could have been better for her if she had startd that kind of life style before she was effected with this

I wish your mother-in-law well with whatever tests or treatments she has to undergo. Something like that makes you appreciate what you have. I dealt with it by being positive and finding humour in the situations I found myself in... yes, there are humorous bits . I sincerely hope that she will be as fortunate as I have been. My surgery was successful and I completed my radiotherapy sessions last Thursday.
