Is it necessary to present a gift to your friend, during his Birthday?!?!?!?!  

yeah . . i agree with u . . its fair enough that we wish them with love and affection . . to make him more happier only people give them gifts :) . . i'm sayin it's not necessary but depends on our wish :)

No, its not really necessary to buy your friend a gift during his birthday. Greeting him on his birthday is good enough, its the thought that counts.

It is not must that you should get a gift for your friend on birthday. But, is is always nice if you can get a gift. Won't you like it if you get a gift on your birthday? It works the same way. You don't have to get an expensive gift. You can get something very small such as something from a one dollar store will do. You can also get the friend a small card to say that the person is special for you. By giving a gift, you will add to the happiness of the person.

Hello sach143_u! well for me, it doesn't neccessarily needed but it's much better if i have some token of something for my friend so as to remind her that i made an effort to surprise her with my present. We differs in so many ways and im sure that your friend have her own views regarding this topic, to whether she wanted to receive gifts from you or whether its enough for her that she knows that you remember to greet her on her birthday minus the gift. Gifts come in different ways. It all depends on your purchasing power or just your creativity.hekek. For my part, I don't usually give gifts that can be purchased. I remember my friend who celebrated her birthday last February, I gave her just a short video clip of her photos and some compliments about her. It made her happy even with that gift. hehe. See? It cannot be bought but it really made her day so special. You just need a little effort and creativity to make her day truly memorable.

There is no need to present a gift...a friend will never expect a gift..only lovers will expect gifts...on their birthdays.Friend needs just a wish..when one of my friend's birthday comes we call them and ask the treat first..then only we will wish..This only a friend will wish.But presenting a gift is good.It is also a different feeling.Only in childhood days I have presented gifts to my friends..now I just ask treat and we all will enjoy the day...

It would depend on you. If you want to give your friend a gift, then I am sure he/she would totally appreciate it and if you just wish him/her a happy birthday, your friend would be happy too. For me, I give gifts when I have money to buy one but if I really do not have, then so sorry I would just give my friend a tight hug and wish him/her a happy birthday.

when it comes to birthday parties,i guess it's always an obligation to give gifts to the celebrant.though it feels awkward to attend without gifts at hand.
well, its really up to you,when you like to give gifts or not.but make sure you attend the party not just for the food but for your friend to celebrate his/her birthday with you together with other friends means a lot to him/her!
it's really nice when you able to see them specially when you're too busy for work and now enjoying time with your friends means really a lot of bonding times!

It depends on the friend if he/she wants to give a birthday gift to the celebrant. If he has the means, why not? For me, it is better that you remembered the celebrant on this special day of his life. Just to be there in his party, your presence is more than enough. There are times that the one celebrating his birthday will not like what you will give him, maybe he is expecting something he'll appreciate or something expensive. If you do not have the means why bother to give him a gift. If I'm the celebrant, I will be happy with your presence and the fact that you are with me on my birthday and having party together.

For me it isn't necessary to bring gifts to my friends birthday. I usually don't expect them to bring anything when its my birthday. What is important is that I get to celebrate my birthday with the people I love.
