Ever been to the Bahamas?

So I'm thinking about going to the Bahamas in December of this year. YES - it's super far away, but I thought I'd start a discussion regarding the Bahamas and your experiences there. Did you like it? Was it affordable? Were the beaches totally gorgeous or what?
What do you think is a good amount of time to spend there? And if you have any hotels, restaurants, and specific sight-seeing things to suggest to me - I'd TOTALLY appreciate it!

I am going there pretty soon. So excited about it! Did you end up going in the end? How was it? And do you have any travel tips to share? (I will be going to Nassau, not sure if that's where you went as well?)

Hi. maezee. I have never been to the Bahamas before. One of my good friends went to Bahamas many of years ago. She told me that this is where she met her baby daddy at. I think that he still lives up here too. She was so in love with him. Hopefully one day I can get to visit this place. I also hope that you will too.

I have not been to the Bahamas - yet - but I have been to Jamaica and Aruba. The Carribean Islands are great! I would suggest nothing less than a week. Have a great time!

I have never been to the Bahamas and I would certainly like to go someday. me and my gf have allready considered a trip there via crise ship. as we have found out it can take upto a year to book a voage and it can be expensive as well. so I we hope to take one sometime latter next year.
