Do you still write letters?  

I enjoy getting cards and letters in the mail. I wrote pen-pals up until very recently. Getting a hand written letter is so much more personal than getting and e-mail and it is always a thrill to open the mail box and see something other than junk mail and bills in there.

I love writing... and I have penpals, so I do still write personal letters and send cards through the post, I actually like it more than email as it is that much more personal, besides the fact getting a letter from a friend through your door rather than a bill is heaps better too :) I do email people but very rarely these days... I think email is for quick response... I text my b'f all the time, through the day and only really use the phone to call friends occasionally or my mum :)

I honestly haven't written a hand written letter in a long time. In fact, the only times I have sent letters out through the mail were thank you letters for graduation money or scholarship awards that I have received. I mostly keep in contact with people via the internet or through phone these days if I'm not actually seeing them in person.

I still do the snail mail letters. I have penpals all over and we like to go to the mail box and get mail still. I know I do. I get so disappointed when I don't have mail. I do the internet thing too but mostly if I need to let someone know something now than later or time slipped away from me and did not get some kind of a greeting card out.

yes the conventional letters are gone and replaced by emails and ecards because its more convinient and expressive so i also use the online mode

That is a habit that I love to receive and send to family and friends. Some of my family & friends don't have a computer or cell phone therefore the only way to keep contact is to write them.

I like to write. But I have not written a letter to anyone in many years. I write in my folders on a regular basis. Almost everyday I am writing something. It might be poetry, short story,just about the day, a plan to do something. I usually write things out first, then I go to the keyboard and type it up.

I don't write letters anymore since, as you've said, there is internet which is faster and easier than going through the trouble of dropping by the post office. But I think we should maintain the traditional letter writing cuz, after all, it's where the e-mails started.

not really it is so much easier to write emails and communicate via the computer that I dontwrite them. I really just prefer to talk on the phone or to write on the computer. I dont have very good handwriting in the first place.

it's long since i last received a personal handwritten letter... and again, i can't remember when i last wrote one...

obviously, handwritten ones had their special appeal to everyone... i really miss that nowadays...
