Oh my gosh! My first question is how did he end up with the dress in the first place? Women usually hang on to that kind of stuff. It is rather childish of him to behave this way, but it is that childishness that more than likely contributed to him getting divorced in the first place.

i saw that too. it shows how incompatible those two are. if a guy who is hard hearted as that can do those things to his wife's wedding dress a woman who has the same characteristic as his would just shrug it off. apparently the woman is humiliated and is very much affected even personally contacting her estranged husband and asking him to stop. i just feel sorry for the child. they have a daughter, right? you know how children feel when their parents quarrel separated or not.

i feel bad for the daughter. how hard is it to mail it to her? it's not his to mess with. no need to pass the anger on to the daughter.

he could have given it to charity for the needy to use.

I would be very ticked off if this was to happen to me. I've spent the last six years of my life married to my husband and though I don't see that we are going to be divorced, but you never know what could happen in the future. I would hope that since I wish to save my dress for my daughter to occasionally have that he wouldn't disrespect the dress like that, but I would also think that I deserved that kind of disrespect if I did something that propagated the divorce.

He was doing something silly! Why do such things to a beautiful dress? What he hates is his wife, not the dress. Also can he feel better by doing that to the dress? i dont think so. The more things he does to the dress the more anger he has to his wife and the more punishment he has for himself. If he could not learn to let go it is a punishment for him.
