the first video game you played can you still remember it?  

I still remember the oldest game i've played. I believe it's super mario bros. Lol. It was the hardest game for me back then. I was too afraid to step on the bad guys and to face king kuppa. But now i'm more afraid of facing ali in fight night round 3. Lol. :)

Hehe, Yup I remember. My first games were Commander Keen 4 and Train.

Ohh Battle City is one of my favorite vido games on NES. Thousand of hours spend on this not so big, but awsome game.

The first game I played on my video game was Super Mario 1.0 (Awsome). And still when I turn on my old nes (once a year) to try does it work yet, I play super Mario and Battle city. Also my favorit is Contra, Lion King, Turtles...

Ya..I do remember my first video game..That was Mario forever. I liked that game at the age of 10 to 13 but later i addicted to newer games but sometimes i used to play it with my bro..

Every video gamer has a game from which they started to be curious about playing video games and which hooked their eyes to play along for years. I remember the day when I was still on my elementary years when I first came to see myself playing video games. It was our town fiesta, when I was really hooked with this game called Excite Bike, a motorcross game for the family computer the predecessor of the world renowned Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The game really took my fancy and it readily hooked me to games for the rest of my life. Before I could spend a lot of time and money to play this game, and it is really fun. The challenge of reaching the finish line while racing along the race course full of obstacles is really awesome. Old games as compared to games of today are really not quite that good but the thing here is that those old games are the foundations of what games are today. They may be simple, easy to play with, not graphically awesome but the gameplay and the funfactor is pretty much the same to the games today if not even more addictive compared to what kind of games we have now. Have you noticed, games before are that simple but they are really addictive and hooks gamers to stick with them till they beat the game, not like today, well yes they are awesome but the fun factor desintigrates when you finish the game, until you won't even try to play it again and become bored with it. Nevertheless, those were the days and they won't come back again, they are just a fragment of our memories, but it will surely made our life full of fun and excitement. Cherish the old times my fellow gamers.

Ever hear of "PONG"? It was one of the first video games ever. It was very simple with no graphics to speak of and it was monochrome.

The first ever console game I played is contra in family computer. I can still remember the 30 lives cheat :D Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Select (2 players), Start :D

For non console then my first video game would be brick game or tetris :D

Yes I do. Like many people, I played pong first, and it was in black and white. It's hard to believe now, but I can still remember the excitement when I got the game for a birthday. Out of nostalgia I recently downloaded a version and played it and I could only stand playing it for about 5 minutes before I stopped. I used to play it for hours when I first got it.
