Do you mean like tempura? That's dipped in batter and then fried (well, anata wa Nihon ni sundeiru . . . so you know ). I "stir" fry broccoli all the time in a wok with different meats and vegetables. The less you cook vegetables the healthier they are . . . I like it when broccoli still has that bit of crunch after it's cooked. Broccoli cooks fast, so I would that frying them - too long anyway - could make them soggy. Let us know what you actually came up with!!

We just went to a restaurant for lunch called Fat Spoon. It was Japanese-Italian fusion. My husband and I order a kare-set (curry) but he felt there may not be enough vegetables so he ordered some extra streamed vegetables on the side. It has steamed broccoli, brussel sprouts and spinach - perfectly steamed and oishikatta!

I suppose that you could fritter broccoli, like so many other vegetables. I often use broccoli in stir fry dishes.

Hi. kyle2krystel. I think that I have tried it in Chinese and Japanese foods here. It tastes really good. It seems to be fried because it is mixed with fried rice. I really do enjoy having fried broccoli.

omg broccoli is delicious. even if you just stew them. its so nyummy. but if you dont like it, you might consider rachel ray sugstion. just pour some olive oil, then put it in oven for 15 mins. its gonna taste good and crunchy. nyummy!!!! easy to make too^^

I eat stir-fried broccoli. i cut them into small bite size pieces and quickly stir fry them over high fire, and sprinkle a little rock salt. i use canola oil, but before puting the broccoli, i saute some garlic first. but this is optional. this is the simplest side dish i love to eat. sometimes i fry button mushrooms instead.
