I just read an article in WebMd as I take the newsletter daily.All about Betty White a pinup girl at almost 90.She had made a calender the sales going to help cats and dogs.She is the article said a real smash in her new television Series Hot in Cleveland. I only put this in enjoy life as that
is what she seems to do.I was just wondering how many other mylotters are'fans of Betty White? I loved her in Golden Girls so she should be
good in her new series. What is your take? WebMD is touting her as a good example for us older people.

hi dawnald thanks I had been trying to remember where I first saw her
and yes The Mary Tyler Moore show. Yes I think it shows that older
does not always mean awful. I hope she keeps going to as her acting'

I have always been a huge Fan of Betty White and admire all she does even as she gets older. Can't wait to see her in the New movie she is in, and Love when she is in sitcoms, announces for shows, etc. She will truly be a Big icon missed when gone.

march 23. I am also a big fan of Betty White, I think she is a true
marvel. I wo uld love to see that movie and also see her new tv
series too.

Awww, she sure has made a great name for herself over the years, and such a sweetheart! I will have to go over to webMD and check it out. I bet she looks fantastic.
I have not seen the new show yet as my tv is giving me troubles...what else is new. She has been on many tv shows lately and I say more power to her! She is much loved all over the world. Thanks Hatley for sharing that information with us so everyone can take a peek!

hi Kashmneresmycat.She really does and I was amazed when I started'reading the article. I havent seen her new show yet either. oddly we have two huge televisions and still cannot get a chance to see the programs I would like
to see,not stupid reruns.She is almost ninety but still looks really good. I loved her in the Golden Girls so much.

I think someone actually uploaded an image of this calendar on myLot images. It's really amazing that Betty is doing this to raise funds for animals, which we all know is a cause that is very dear to her heart. I also heard that she has been printing and selling T-shirts with her name and face for a similar cause. It really shows that age is no barrier when it comes to doing something you are passionate about. It seems Betty has been starring in quite a number of movies and shows lately, and from what I see, she still is a very good actress and can still make people laugh. I just hope she still has many years to go because it will truly be a big loss if she were to leave us for good......

have not been able to see her new tv series and wou ld
love to.She sure shows that age ins no barrier if you
are really passionate about something and just go
for it.I am seriously thinking of writing my own
autobiography and started one chapter but got stopped.
I really do want to do this.So maybe an hour a day.

she is already doing very well. I am not as old i am only 84 but looks no

Interesting!!
I watched Hot In Cleveland tonight for the first time, and while it was a very good show, I could not get the past that the "Rose" from the Golden Girls (Betty White) starred in it, along with Jane Leeves (Frasier's Daphne) and the lady who played Martin's girlfriend towards the end of the Fraiser series were also starring in it. It was strange, like a bizarre spin-off of alter-egos. LOL

hi danishcanadian that would be strange too that is an odd combination
as we will remember them from the other tv series we knew them in
too.They would be pretty much opposite I would think, and maybe I wou ld have to get past that to really enjoy the new series. lol. I used to watch
Frazier a lot before I came here. I seldom see any of the things I would like to watch here so comeup here and get on the net. lol lol

hi cream yes mine too and I hope she does very well on this new show and I still have not got to see the show. these old duffers grab the remote and that's all she wrote,nobody else has a chance to pick a modern
show we would like.

It's really funny that I should see this today because my husband and I were just watching a repeat of an episode of the Golden Girls. And I also have to admit that she was absolutely hilarious when she was the guest on Saturday Night Live. I've not seen or really heard about her new series, but I'm definitely going to have to find out about it because I'm a fan of hers. In addition, I think that it is great that she is starring in a calendar to raise money for cats and dogs.
