Yes I really like thunderstorms it dosen't even bother me if I out side eather I really enjoyed them I like listening the the thunder and watch the lighting as well
we don't get very often here any more like when I was yonger,,,

I understand if he was afraid of thunderstorms than he was trying to make sure you be safe not thinking that his fear was going to bother you as he meant well.

If I had not had to go down in the basement when their was tornado warnings during a thunderstorm when I was a kid I probaly would not be bothered by thundertorms! My dad amde sure everyone went down in the basement! Not just me!

I am scared of thunder, lighting & hard rain, when I was a little whenever big rain pours with thunder & lightning, I soaked into the bed and cover myself with a mattress. Good thing that I overcome that fear now but not completely. Seeing lightning and hearing loud thunder makes me pray once in a while.

The biggest reason I haTe thunder storms is because when I was a kid my dad would have us all go down to the basement if there was a bad storm or the weather reort would say their was a tornado warning! I wouldn't mind the thunder cracing but it gets reaaly loud! No wonder it can make me jumpy!

The sound makes it scary, I've never experience tornado and I don't want to. Your dad is responsible, he wants you all secure.

do I like Thunderstorms? No I don't like them , I Love them! I love the sound of thunder and i love to see lightning. It is thrilling. It gives me a rush.

If I had to go to the basement everytime there was a storm coming, I would hate storms. Even during hurricane Isabella I gazed out the window!

I forgot to mention in the disscussion when I wrote it. When I was a kid alot of times the weather report would say the possilbites of severe thunder storms or torando watches! So my dad would get all into the bsaement until the storm was over. That is the biggest reason I hate thinderstorms! It just isn't because of the noise!

I hat them becaue when i was a children my dad made sure we went in the basement until they pasted! There was the fear of maybe a tornado would happen! Never did! If the darn thunder wouldn't be so loud,that I sometimes jump, I wouldn't mind thunderstorms! It is crazy!

If it is pretty to see the thunderstorms, the figures and forms that do the beams, the light, overcoat by night, always and when this to except and this storm does not transform in a tornado or a hurricane. But it is not possible to deny that the storms are beautiful to observe them.

Some thunderstorms have become tornado's and that has happen a few times this summer in the state were I live! The last one touched down on the interstate right by the city I live. No one was hurt but some vechicles were turned over or blown off the road! To close to comfort!

I love watching and listening to thunder storms, from inside a building or RV. As long as there is no dangerous winds and it essentially just waters everything.

Rain is a good thing but when it is warm and humid it isn't! We have had way to much thunderstorms! In the state where I live there has been some bad flooding in areas! In other states the same thing! That isn't good! To much rain is a bad thing!

That's why I say "just waters everything". We've had flooding here too. A few years ago we had to drive through low lying areas to get somewhere. The water was still rising so we dressed for the hazard, not the event we were attending. The following day an elderly couple driving through the same area were standing on the hood of their car when some teenagers spotted them and got them to safety! My mom was the only person who criticized us for not dressing well enough for the family reunion! I told her about the couple who almost drown.

Hi Blue,
I actually love thunderstorms. I do have a respect for them because I know they can be deadly and dangerous but still, I love them. The louder and the more lightning the better as long as i'm in my cozy little home. They can be dangerous though so a little bit of fear is a good thing.

Thunderstorms can be dangerous and I try not to be out side when they are around. I am not fund of driving in them either! Mostly because it can rain pretty hard,sometimes! The louder they are the jumpier I get! Just the way it is with me!

I like them too if they are far away. I love the soft sounds of thunder from afar. And the lightning streaks in the sky. Makes me feel closer to nature. Makes me feel small compared to the vast galaxy. Really magical.

I love thunderstorms! We get them quite often in the summertime. Sometimes they can get kind of scary but more often not. I am watching a line of rain and storms come our way and praying it holds together..lol

Rain can be a good thing and so can be thunderstorms. They are bad when you get them alot and there is enough rain to last awhile! That has been happening all summer! If we weren't so hot and humid already we wouldn't be getting an over abundence of rain which we have had!

Yes it is mostly the sound I can't tolarateof at all! I would not mind thunderstorm otherw use!
