If there will be another strike ( I have seen 3 in the past!) it won't happen until the 2011 season. There is time to get all this stuff figured out by the owners, players and Comissioner Roger Goodell. Seeing 3 strikes since the 1970's I can't see this happening! Hopeful thinking but when I have seen strikes in all of my favorite sports (hockey has two also),I don't want to go through this again! I have seen shorten seasons, replayment players and the threat of a season never happening! I rather not see this again! It would be to painful!

I heard this too. On the radio.
About the NFL owners not really telling how much they make. I guess the players figured that they want to have part of that pie too. It's unfortunate that the business side of the sport threatens the beauty of the game.
I hope they resolve it.

It all depends on who you ask. Personally, I think that there will NOT be a lock out, which is what would happen. It isn't the players that are unhappy, it is management who doesn't want the players to know exactly who much they are making. The problem is that 31 of the 32 teams in the NFL are private companies, so they don't have to release how much money they made, and the only one that is a public company (Green Bay Packers) is a small market team that isn't a good base for anyone to use. I think that the league will step in and show both sides what has happened in the past during lockouts, and in other sports, and they will quickly reach an agreement.
