Getting Sucked Into The Fantasy |
| |
| I absolutely love love love to read. My favorite genre would have to be fiction, though I'll read just about anyhthing that can capture my interest. I noticed recently that when i read Stephenie Meyers books, or Alyson Noel (especially) I get sucked into the fantasy world. I can't help but feel that I'm right there watching everything unfold as if it were real life. I actually stayed up an entire 24 hour period and read Alyson Noels' *Blue Moon*. I just got so entranced with every tiny detail i couldn't bear to tear myself away. Does anyone else ever get so into what theyre reading that theyre almost sadend to see the last page of the book? If so I'd love to hear some good authors and reads. Pease and Thank You. | | | | | |

| | I'm a huge reader. I typically finish 2-3 books a week and I never go a day without reading something. My favorite genre is High Fantasy (A fantasy that takes place almost completely in a made-up world), but I'll read anything that catches my interest. I'm usually pretty engrossed in whatever I'm reading... but about once a month I'll come across a book that REALLY draws me in. There's really too many favorites for me to list... but some of my recent favorite reads that I enjoyed are Heartless by Anne Elizabeth Stengl, Forgive my Fins by Tera Lynn Childs, The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle, The Books of Pellinor by Alison Croggin, and the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. | | | | | | |

| | i love fantasy books too. i read twilight and got addicted to it. these days, the book that i really like is percy jackson and the olympians. when i read these books, i can't help but picture myself as the hero of the book. especially in percy jackson, i know it's impossible but i picture myself as a demi-god just like the characters in the books. that's what i like about fantasy, it makes you see yourself as someone else while you are reading it. | | | | | | |

| | I love the feeling of a great book, especially when it sucks you in so deeply that you hate to see the last page, or when everything else around you is silent, even when it's a ruckus in the house. I am reading "Montana Sky" by Nora Roberts and I think it definitely qualifies as one of those books that just sucks you in. I'd love to go back to reading it, but I prefer the silence of night to read, and I really should earn some money, but I am sure I'll read some more before I go to bed in a few hours. | | | | | | |

| | good to know im not the only one that experience this, being entranced with a book so much that you forget the time, i sometimes forget that i have work the next day and end up having to use concealer to hide dark circles under my eyes, Genre of books that i read are mostly Fantasy fiction recently the inheritance series by Christopher Paolini (can't wait for the final book) and the sword of truth series by terry goodkind ( 11 long Books) it made me a little sad though when the harry potter books ended,...****SMILE**** | | | | | | |

| | Oh yes, I can definitely forget myself in the books. My favorites are Robert Jordan, Karen Chance and Jocelynn Drake, at least at the moment. Rich in details, hero(ine)s that can make mistakes and aren't invincible and little romance to throw into the mix, what could be better? Lol, I would have liked to stay up all night and read a book if I could, but I had to sneak around and smuggle a book to the bathroom so I could read it there. Now I'm lots smarter and listen to audiobooks. No one's the wiser. I especially recommend Chance's 'Death's Mistress', which has deadly humor down to pat. | | | | | | |

| | That's a nice hobby, I also like reading books that interests me. I like fictional stories too! If you'd like something you can read less than three hours (seemed to me like that's how long I finished it) each book. I recommend a series of unfortunate events by Lemony Snicket. It sorta have a negative and sad ambiance but the story is well-done and you can get hooked. There are also unusual words you can learn. It sounds like what students would read but there are lessons and trivial knowledge you can learn from it. If you like a pretty long novel, Sherlock Holmes by Conan Doyle intrigues me. I haven't finished the whole novel but I read some short stories in its collection. It is fascinating to learn how little details in the story would turn out to be the solution. I definitely recommend it if you wish stories with a twist and creativity. | | | | | | |
