We Have a Country Worth Saving

Millions of us watched with bated breath and prayers in our hearts as a downright micracle occurred today in Chile! Against all odds, and in the most difficult of constraints some of America's heroes rescued all 33 minors from the depths of darkness that were their prison since August.
And they did it ahead of schedule, and they did it superlatively.
Please read articles in Canada Free Press by Judi McLeod " Miracle Rescue in Chile Thanks to American Exceptionalism", Associated Press Writer Michael Warren's report, also on WND.com, and Michelle Malkin's report, among the many, for details of courage and dedication.
All the articles detail American ingenuity, fortitude, exceptionalism, and capabilities.
But I say American "HEART", the kind of "first responder" outreach at all levels we are called to , known for, and, often underappreciated for.
Denver, CO contractor, Jeff Hart, had the tenuous job of the most sensitive and delicate drilling. He was called back from his work in Afghanistan to join this heroic mission. Two PA companies, Schramm, Inc, and Center Rock (President Brandon Fisher), were part of the American team that provided stellar equipment.
At this most terrible time in our history, when our country is in the grips of the most awful fraud and treason, yet our heroes, the products of the free enterprise sysetem and liberty, gumption, and know-how still rally to the cause of those in need everywhere, selflessly!
This, of course, is diametrically opposed and antithetical to the conduct of the arrogant, haughty usurper who has made it his mission to disparage, dismantle, and disgrace this wonderful nation. He hardly gave notice to or commented on the amazing miracle our heroes afforded those plunged into darkness, as they brought them painstakingly into the light.
And, the tragedy is that, if Americans don't wake up to the mind-numbing reality of this criminal's mission to quash and destroy that which is noble and wonderful about our nation, we will soon be reduced to robotic servitude under his oppressive, tyrannical, socialist regime, which is already robbing our freedoms, protections, liberty, blessings, and, oh, yes, JOY.

I wish I could say that I'm surprised by your comment, but sadly, I'm not.
This was NOT America's moment...this was CHILE'S moment! The entire American crew left the scene before the rescues began out of respect for the people of Chile who worked so hard to save those men and watched those miners being brought to the surface on television.
Yes, Americans came, Americans worked hard and it was the American crew who broke through first but this was not ABOUT the Americans. They are not the ONLY heroes in this story. Our president spoke about what was truly important...that 33 men were reunited with their loved ones instead of losing their lives half a mile underground. I think it would have been very inappropriate to single out the American crew.

The President's message was one of congratulations to the people of Chile, which was the appropriate message for him to send at that time. I'm sorry that you can't understand that. The American heroes who worked to save those men did not do so for recognition...they did so because there was a need and, as always, America responds. They left the rescue site so that the people of Chile could celebrate those moments without outsiders there, even though those outsiders had done a fantastic job.
I stand by my opinion that it would have been inappropriate for the president to go any farther than congratulating the people of Chile. This was their moment and their miracle. To mention the accomplishments of the Americans involved *at that moment* would have been viewed as arrogant on our part. I don't expect you to agree because, when it comes to Obama, nothing he does is ever right in your opinion.

Some additional information about the American team that I just learned. They have been back home for a week. Once the drilling was completed they had to get their equipment out of the way and, while they could have stayed, they chose not to. They were not interested in being in the limelight...they were there because they believed that they could help.

That was a wonderful, well planned and executed, rescue mission.
So far I have not read or heard anything from the "Usurper" regarding this great feat.
Perhaps the "Usurper" is planning a new trip to foreign countries where he can again apologise for our wonderful country and our part in the rescue mission!!

You do know that the line "one nation under god" was added later in the 20th century and that the original was
" I pledge allegiance to my Flag,
and to the Republic for which it stands:
one Nation indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all."
That was in 1892
then later they changed it to
I pledge allegiance to my the
Flag of the United States,
and to the Republic for which it stands:
one Nation indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all.
1923
then another change they added "...of America" in 1924
then finally in the 1950's they added one nation under god.
As for your god references I will respect your beliefs unless it is dealing with our country in which case I will polity disagree. I don't think it was a miracle I think what it was. Is a display of what Humans can do to overcome odds when the greatest equipment the minds and people are all aiming for one goal. South Africa helped as they have many mines and the United States helped in many ways through our companies. We as Humans got it done because when we are forced to combine our minds with our machines history is made every time. As challenges arise the Human mind can use its power to overcome and meet and beat the challenge that is presented.
And well Obama hasn't ever talked about the NWO it was Bush Sr. that talked about it and well if you know the theory we are as a nation are the bringers of the NWO and become the dominate power in the world as we will conquer the nations of the earth through our money and power. The Illuminati and Free Masons Created this nation.

You must have missed his comments last night...the ones epicure is complaining about. He congratulated the Chilean people and the country of Chile itself. His words were appropriate since this was not an "American" mission...this was a Chilean rescue mission and Americans, as well as many others, helped.

What a good illustration of American exceptionalism. If only we could have a bit of that in Washington. Since obama's people came in the question now is "If only we could have some who believed in American exceptionalism." Instead of our government apologizing to the world and looking for ways to bring us down down to a third world level, we could be celebrating such heroic acts, and hundreds more just like it.
The mainstream media is so worthless, don't you think?

Thanks for the tip on Steve Dunham. I had not heard that before. The huge amount of conflicting information about the birth of obama is enough to prove that something is really screwed up. He has worked hard to hide the truth, so it must have been important to do.
There have to be reasons why the dems would put such a wild card loser up as their primo candidate.

The mainstream media are complicit in the coverup and treason of Barry Obama, Barry Soetoro, Barack Hussein Obama, Steve Dunham, in all his aliases and corruption. A gag order was put on them in November 2008 by the FCC and station heads re ever discussing his ineligibility and citizenship. This was reported in Canada Free Press at the time.
They were threatened with loss of station license, job loss, even threats to family. But, they did not have to capitulate and deceive the American people.
High salaries, fame and notoriety, I'm sure play their part in the silencing and complicity of the lamestream media to the destruction of our country and the deceiving of our citizens.

For the past 70 days great men have proved to the world Obama is incapable of answering the red phone in a timely fashion. When Hillary Clinton run aganist Obama in the Presidential campaign she run a add about the white house red phone. We found out quickly we can not trust Obama and his administration to answer the red phone in a timely fashion. When Presidential action is in demand such as it was during the Gulf oil spill Obama goes on vacation with his golf bag in tow.

So many of us knew BEFORE the "election" that this man was NOT to be trusted. There was so much evidence and his actions in receiving millions in foreign donations, and keeping everything about himself sealed should have served as a warning. Additional to that, he NEVER did anything of worth as a senator at all.
His "friends" are all untrustworthy America-haters. Why have most Americans been so
foolish? Remember, her refused to allow his middle name to be used before the "election/inauguration. There were so many clues for the discerning and so many lawsuits on the SC docked against him - Barack Hussein Obama, Barry Obama, Barry Soetoro, Steve Dunham, and now the State Dept. revealed yet a new, long Indonesian surname. All these aliases were not revealed even when he got a law license (now removed); that's against the law.
He uses an illegal 042-Social Security number and has several in his name; this is usually a sign of money laundering.
This person, whoever he really is, is totally inept in ability to do anything worthwhile and totally bereft of character.
He is, however, masterful at destroying this country, as is his mission.
He is a danger to this country.

I don't think he can support the rescue of miners, after all, doesn't he believe that miners are just pillaging the Earth of its resources and polluting our planet? Remember, Obama did promise to bankrupt the coal mining industry when he was running for president. As president, he opposed a copper mine in Arizona that would have afforded thousands of new jobs and an economic boost to the state. Obama would never congratulate American ingenuity if he didn't like what it's being applied to.
Never mind, the rest of us can be proud to be Americans and proud that we are always at the ready to lend a hand when needed. Good Americans with good intentions just don't fit into the Obama mindset.

Oh, I'm sure is educated enough to know that eventually coal and cooper will become a thing of the past, many people realize that with finite resources that some day there won't be anymore. So, if by natural occurrence whom will you blame when the Earth runs out of coal and cooper? Would that be god or the Earth itself?

Rollo, Great Response, showing wisdom and understanding! You are so right about the mindset of this usurper; his mind is fixed on the dismantling of the America he hates and is compelled to destroy.
Zephpyr, O is not "educated" or even fairly "intellectual"; he doesn't really have "smarts" or wisdom. He is indoctrinated in hatred and scheming and deception; I don't call that in any way "educated" or erudite. Just because someone pretends to care about whatever the current "liberal" issues are doesn't mean he is either truthful or sincere. Surely, you can see that this man is a constant and unremitting liar.
Yes, we all know that we have both renewable and non-renewable resources. But, if blame is to be assigned for dealing with the finite reality of life itself, we must look to ourselves for our own apathy and complacency, and lack of understanding or appreciating the blessings we have been given. We have been given these resources to USE WISELY, as good stewards, and not to be wasteful. They are not to lie fallow, but to be used with care, as well as gratefulness.

epi you must understand that I don't believe in that folksy BS from the "right". I actually call someone that went to Harvard a well educated person, someone that went to numerous colleges and ended up with a 4 year degree is not what I call educated. But, that is a big difference between conservatives and liberals, folksy is educated and ivy league schools are elitist. Every politician lies, the thing is you have to figure out what lies you can live with and which ones you can't. I would much rather have a liberal lie to me about how much something is going to cost than have a conservative condemning people because of their life style.
If it is our responsibility to use the Earth's resources "wisely" than why is it that conservatives complain every time the EPA puts restrictions on things, laws are passed to help save the planet, and restrictions are placed on the Earth's resources?

Okay I am for the case of this article ignore the opinion placed at the bottom.
The United States has always been really good at helping others in foreign countries. This is an example of not only the benefits of having a capitalist like system as we are not completely capitalist. Companies that do care more about people and less about the bottom line helped out and got the job done the company I work for was involved in both the Oil Spill and this case. I work for UPS so basically our part was getting the stuff their and fast which is kinda what we do. Anyway I am a full supporter of having business being fairly left alone by government and that government should leave it to its own devices unless it gets to BP or some company is making it extremely unsafe and it could end up doing a massive amount of damage. Having OSHA is a good think in general as it keeps companies in check and allowing Workers to be Unionized if they so choose.
This is a great day as we saved the lives of people that we really as a nation didn't know and didn't have to get involved with but we knew that we had to do something and couldn't sit around and waited till the governments get the resources to go in there as they take forever being a system tide down with forms after forms.
So the Private Sector got involved and got what they needed to do done and did it as well as they could. They got the best equipment the most motivated people and the resources to handle the issue in a quick and efficient manner as Capitalist in any form related to is the most efficient and strives for the most efficient to survive.
Okay just because I could ignore the stuff for long.
Both Parties want to rub us the People of the following the sooner people wake up to that fact the better. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Thanks for your remarks upholding the values and strengths of our nation. We will have to fight to keep them intact against the "administration" bound and determined to trash them.
