Have you ever been arrested?

So I am just curious, bored, starting a discussion on my lot I guess. I have never personally been arrested. I have been in the back of a cop car when I was a teen about 13 years old. I ran away from home and ran from the cops, had an asthma attack. It was not a pretty experience. I have also been pulled over once or twice. Nothing that was any big deal. So I would like to hear about some people encounters with the law, being arrested or even close calls. If you are brave enough to share.

I have been in the back of cop cars, too, also, ironically, for being a runaway.

Ahh a young teen girls life lol. I think most of us ran away at least once. Part of growing up huh.

I guess so. :-)
And sneaking out to parties, and stuff like that.
I think its a right of passage.

I've never been arrested before. I don't any of that in my record. That will make job hunting even harder than it is. Although I've tried walking down the street with an MJ on my hand. It's illegal here, but I wasn't arrested. Lol

Well yes please do be careful walking down the street with your MJ lol. It is best to keep the stash at home. But impossible on the way home from getting it. I think we have luck on our side I guess.

I was arrested once when I was about 17. I was charged with disorderly conduct. It wasn't a major charge, so I just paid a fine, and never had to go to court or anything on it. I only spent a couple of hours there, but once was enough for me to know that I didn't want to go back there. I actually became a law enforcement officer later on myself, but I had to quit doing it because of physical problems. I miss it all the time, but I know that I will never be able to do it again, so I will just have to deal with it.

I've been pulled over twice- both times I wasn't ticketed. I've never been arrested. I was once in the back of a NYPD cop car, but that was for a journalism class. We had to tag along and write about our experience. It was pretty boring, although we did have to wear bullet proof vests, which made us a little uncomfortable.

That is interesting. I would rather it be boring than be in an experience where you would of needed that vest.

I definitely don't have any great stories to tell when it comes to being arrested because I've never been arrested. I think that there might have been a couple of times that I came pretty close to it when I was younger, but never was I not sent away. I've had a few speeding tickets and the worst offense that I ever had was allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a motor vehicle. That said, I do know some people that have been arrested and none of them really had great stories either.

I've never been arrested or really had any kind of a run in with the police, and I hope it stays that way, haha. :)

I was picked up by the police when I was hitch hiking because I had called my foster mother from the gas station to pick me up, but she was not home and I left a message and she did not call back.
Not her fault, the pay phone would not accept in coming calls. The police officer drove me to where I could walk home after the usual lecture about hitch hiking being dangerous. Of course it did not worry me as I always wanted to see in the inside of a police car. I was about 15 or 16 at the time so I never was arrested.

Being arrested would make me feel stoned, unconscious and out of breath. I can't bear the pain of having myself cuffed or in back of a police car. Its always in my best interests to avoid such problems. Even if its not a big deal, I still take ways that are closer to law and morality. Being pulled over is really bad in my society, as doing something illegal is badly heard from family members and rumors can spread quickly. Encounters with the law have been rare for me, and I hope to continue having this trend. I hope there are less police watching the roads for speedy cars, but law has to preside everywhere.
