I notice more and more that when I dream I mainly only have daydreams. Very rarely do I ever have a dream while I am sleeping. Does anyone know why this is? Now I don't want to stop the daydreaming, but is there a way to balance it out between day dreaming and dreaming while you are a sleep? Any help on this would be appreciated. As well are day dreams the same as Lucid Dreams or is that something different?

Just like they are saying. We dream every time we sleep, but sometimes we don't remember it when we wake up. I barely remember my dreams that I have, but when I was pregnant I noticed I remembered every single dream I had when I woke up and usually it was about being pregnant lol.

Hi Dreaming is not not in our hands i mean if it happens by itself . But some dream wantedly and that is not dream at all. When dreaming is not in our hands how can we stop them. Dreams which occur in day time are not true they are imaginations of our mind this is what i heard so far.

I have periods of time where I would remember that I dreamt something, but couldn't recall the details. And I'm the type of person who keeps a notebook by his bed for the purpose! If you don't remember ever having a dream, and if you are interested in seeing if you do dream (and in every likelihood you do) also keep a notebook handy on a bedside table with pen or pencil, and write anything at the very moment of waking up. Especially emotions, moods. one's thoughts can be all screwy but your emotions and moods are true. Or maybe it is your sleeping patterns. Do you go to bed early, or always late, needing to rush in the morning to get things together to do what you need to do? Then there is stress, and I am not qualified to diagnose that - i'll leave that to the professionals.

i figure daydreaming can be linked somewhat to lack of concentration which may mean your sleep isn't good enough. they say when someone really dreams(especially vivid dreams)that they are really getting good sleep. i would suggest going to bed right when your tired and to cut out the caffeine entirely if your able. i need to do these things my self because i think these things would help with better productivity throughout the day.

Hmm this is weird. Many people dream when asleep but you are just sound asleep with daydreams, which only occurs when you're in an idling state. Maybe it's just your mind playing around with you. Well, if this's the case that you don't dream, that means only one thing, and that is, you don't have a lot of things on your mind. People dream when they have a lot of things in their mind and I think that dreams are sort of virtual images that can only be displayed at night.

There are ways to remember what you dream also. Keeping a journal by your bed and trying to recall them right after you sleep. You can look it up online for methods. But we do dream every time we sleep. I think there is a kind of very uncommon mental disease that can make you not dream. But I am sure you probably just don't remember them.
