yay!!! finally! Republican lawmakers are looking st the UN for possible corruption. Possibly cutting funding. A briefing led by Republican U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, will look at funding, and the way the UN is run. The US currently is the biggest contributor to the UN, covering 22% of its budget. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/01/25/republican-lawmakers-taking-aim/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+foxnews%2Fpolitics+%28Internal+-+Politics+-+Text%29 I am very much against the current UN. What are your thoughts? Do you think funding should be cut? Do you liek the idea of the investigations?

As one of my first "cuts" to reduce government spending, I'd cut all spending to the U.N. Council by committee by program by country by...I'd reinstate funding, only after all previous funds had been accounted for. You can't tell me what you did with the last several billions...no more money! You don't arrest those stealing billions...no more money. If the U.N. doesn't clean up its act, "bye".

Too little, too late as long as usurper Obama brings AZ and 22 states to the feet of the UN to grovel and be subjugated to their corruption, losing our sovereignty.

I agree, he embarrasses and therefore places us in danger every time he speaks.

I wish I could get excited about this, but Obama has his head so far up the UN's a$$ you can't tell where they end and he begins. He's such a sucker for them that he decided to join their joke of a Human Rights commission and allowed the most brutal dictators in the world to bash Arizona for enforcing a law that's been federal law for almost a hundred years.

I agree and I hope that the republicans as well as thinking legislators decide to close the check book.

Why don't they just go the extra mile and.....oh never mind, you know where I'm going with this, you already know my feelings on the U.N. Anyway, GOOD. 'Bout high time. Let the U.N. get their money from their cheerleaders for a change.
