I didn't really know because I was too busy with some House chores today. But my mom went with my sister in laws mom with their grandchildren because I think they are part of recognition day. I didn't asked though i know some what that they got an award. I think my siblings were blessed by children that has an active "BRAIN" because now he received an achiever award. but i am worried about his health because he doesn't eat vegetables at his age. he's too thin, asthmatic and has HIGH GRADE in his glasses. but he's kinda good looking like his dad when he was young. I hope he goes into business when he grows up and not think about girls ( like his daddy did). are you proud of the little critters in you're family?

Hi LetranKnight CONGRATULATIONS to you and your nephew. I have a nephew too who is in standard III and his exam results got declared today. He had called up and said - "Uncle I need that Benten Watch - the one you had promised" - I remember last october when I was at my dad's and mom said - your nephew is not studying and will fail in the exams, I has promised him this watch if he cleared his exams. I am told that in fact he has scored A+ (about 85%+) which is really great news for me. I am proud of my nephew and his innocense.

hi letran wow your nephew really did do well. He will outgrow his skinniness by and by and may even learn to like his veggies too. An achiever Award is indeed something to be proud of. A lot of boys at that age are skinny but they soon lose that and become more filled out.better a little skinny than too fat. Yes business os always a good bet when he gets all gro wn up. I am very p roud of my son but hes no longer a kid now.

hiya buddy! oh yeah, we are all proud of the achievements of our children. we are proud to tell the world what they just accomplished. i am proud of my kids too. i tell the world. like what i did last year when Patrick graduated in Kinder. we are just a little disappointed about Patrick this year. there was a talk between my wife and his teacher. we feel disappointed when the teacher said, he's not going to be the first honor. but that's not the issue. it's the way the teacher have told my wife why he could only be second or third. it seemed to me, he graded us, the family and not Patrick... long story. anyway, congratulations to your nephew...

I'm sure that you are very happy about that child for getting such an award. I use this time to congratulate you also because of your broad mindedness to share your happiness with mylotters. Best wishes....

Well that is an honour he will grow up with confidence and I hope does well, I wouldn't worry too much about his weight I think it is a bigger worry to be over weight, I was always very much under weight when I was a kid but that soon changed..he will be ok...

Congratulations to your nephew! Don't worry too much about his thinness, young children are often very thin and they fill out later, particularly boys. I'm proud of my nieces and nephews and of their children, too. They have not done anything famous or spectacular but they have good honest lives and they are wonderful people that bring honor to my family.

Critters? Sounds like the 80s film, haha!~Anyway he's nothing near those fur balls as he's quite good looking. As for my side, I'm the only one, OK, my eldest cousin brother already has a daughter. My son will be 10 months soon. Well, we're like thousands of miles apart - he's in England & we're in MalaysiaBut I heard from my mum that my niece is really brilliant

hello LK, Oh yeah again my dear brother...and CONGRATS to your nephew I am always proud of my daughter when she receives awards. Okay, let's say..me and my siblings always having competition with our kids (healthy competition) My siblings kids are also "achievers" at school. My niece graduated in elementary as valedictorian and also won the title "little Ms.Baguio". My other niece and nephew are also an honor pupil this school year end. But of course there are also some bullies in the circle and ...one of my nephew is too proud that he doesn't want to go to school because he is sick of his teachers lessons (same thing everyday as he say's ...really makes me laugh..he's just 4 years old and sick of his studies already what the h*ck ) Again...CONGRATULATIONS to your nephew...when are you gonna have your own kid hmnn?

Wow! Good job for your nephew. Does "tito" have something to do with the award? You kids usually do well because of the family's support. Dont worry about his physique. my brother was just like that, asthmatic and very thin when he was young but if you see him now, you wouldnt believe that it is the same person, becaue of all those pounds.

Wow congrats to him and his loving parents! Yeah children don't usually care for veggies when they are small. I don't think it is a problem. I hated veggies when I was growing up and absolutely love most now. As for my two critters, gosh yes I absolutely love and am proud of them each day! Enjoy your nephew, before you know it he will be as grown as you. LOL.
