Highway was jammed up for over 2 hours

Yesterday, about evening time, I took my mom for a nice dinner, because it was her birthday a couple of days before, and I didn't have time to celebrate it with her, so I had to make it up for her yesterday. Right after the dinner, we drove home from the highway, I - 285, it was totally jammed up. I was sit there for more than 30 minutes, and I don't see a single car was moving. Was it a big accident or was something else, like construction on progress? I just remember that I let my sister borrow my portal GPS system away, and I am stuck here. I wish that I had system in my car, so I could detour around it. Don't you hate to stuck in traffic for that long, especially it was Sunday.

I hate being stuck in traffic also. We got stuck in traffic for about an hour about a month ago. We did not see a wreck or road construction or anything that would have caused it either.

We don't have traffic jams around here very often, but they're usually due ot accidents of some kind. The last time I heard of one, it was a problem with a highwire pole and they had to stop traffic to get a repair truck to it.
I'm not sure I've ever actually been in a traffic jam.

I am sorry to hear that you were stuck in traffic. In the county I used to live in we never saw a traffic jam, I mean they were very rare. Only TWICE had I been in one there, but one we were stuck in for like an hour it seemed and I had to pee, and we still had 15 minutes to drive from the exit to our destination, it wasn't fun.
