I am so happy that Mum has lived to be ninety years old.

Yesterday,our whole family had a dinner party at a restaurant to congratulate Mum on the ninetieth anniversary of her birthday.Mum was very rejoice when children proposed her health in turn.On the occasion the whole family was joyous,all sorts of feelings well up in my mind:" Our family is just like a towering tree which is a mass of branches and leaves now,but we mustn't forget that Mum is the root of the tree ,which has experienced untold suffering...."Suddenly,It came home to me how much I owed to my Mum and father who passed away last year at the age of 92.I wish Mum could live to be one hundred years old.

i also hope she lived to be one hundred. that wou ld be so neat.I can see she was really happy to be out in a restaurant with her whole family celebrating her birthday with her,What a joyous occasion for all of you.

i am a mom and i dont want to live that long if i will be immobile and can even get to clean myself. i mean, i cannot be alive where people are taking care of what i use to take care of. it would be a nice feeling to see people care but it also does make anybody feel useless. and i dont want to be that useless.

Hi,
Congratulation to your mother.
These days very few people live beyond 90. Stress, hypertension, irregularity in taking meals and sleep, Taking medicines even when it was not necessary, pollution are the main reasons that even if some live above 80 they are totally invalid.
My father also is 86 years old. He is up and doing in the sense that he keeps on engaging himself some manual works. He has no sugar problem, nor high BP nor stress. Besides he lives in happy mood.
May be your mom too is of the samae sort.

i always tell my 79 year old grandpa "i wish you will reach a hundred year old, that would be sooo cool!" and he would just laugh. hehe it must be a a very great feeling to see your mother still living at that age, and still able to see how her children and grand children and great grandchildren live their lives. god bless to you and your family. :)

Happy Birthday to your Mom, I wish my mother would live that long because my father already leave us at the age of 68. I haven't taught that my father would leave us that soon because he was our strength. At his age, he still takes care of all of us including his grandchildren and his siblings.
I wish your mother and your family all the best. I really hopes that she could share her secrets for longer life.

Hi,my friend!First let me say "congratulattions" to your your elder mum,and I am very glad to hear that.It's not easy to live healthily and happily up to such an age,surely she has suffered a lot when she was young.
My pa is more than 72,but he's rather strong and healthy,and he's still plantint paddy-rice and sugar canes.He says he will live to 102 years old,hehe.I hope so.@changjiangzhibin89 (17239)
