As accomplished as Oprah is she might never achieve her dream!

I was on the way to work this morning and I was listening to the morning radio. I heard something very interesting.
They were talking about Oprah retiring her show. They said that Oprah had said her dream was to have O.J Simpson confess to her! They were wondering now that she had retired her show if she would ever have her drean fulfilled.
Now Oprah is a very accomplished person and I suppose I thought she had all her dreams fulfilled. I guess not. I certainly would have never guessed that being her dream.
So what do you think about Oprah's dream? Do you think she will ever accomplish it? Have you ever heard her talk about O.J on one of her shows?

Hi Jen
As far on the Oprah Winfrey Show itself she will not get that chance as she retired the show. But certainly will not mean she can't have him do so, if he wishes to someday on any show.
Though I find it unlikely she will ever get that chance because whether he is guilty or not he has to believe he is guilty to come out and say he is to begin with. We all know he says to date he is innocent. Therefore, unless his conscious is bugging him, and or he comes clean and or he just wants to, it will not happen.
Therefore, I personally do not think this dream of her will come true, but then I probably cannot say never say never to anything as there have been cases that have been solved after 40- 50 years so who knows we may be really old one day to hear the interview. lol

Hi, Hardworkinggurl, I agree,he might be afraid of getting into some kind of legal trouble or people just treating him real badly if he admits it.I don't think he would admit to that either on cameras anyways.

Ohh..double jeopardy..that's right! She might have her chance afterall. I was thinking it is very unlikely that he would ever admit it too....I wonder if Oprah has been thinking of a sneaky plan to get hime to confess if she got him on the show? Well...network now.

Hi margeryann
I remember his case and being that he was found not guilty. He cannot be tried again because it would be considered double jeopardy. Though he may be afraid is right as who knows they can stipulate it some way where a new type of charge can come forth.
True I don't think he will ever admit to it directly either.

THAT'S Oprah Winfrey's dream?? You've got to be kidding!! She'll be waiting for a cold day in hell before O.J. Simpson will ever confess! Especially to her or the likes of her! Because she's a public figure and will let the "cat out of the bag" and tell everyone who'll listen. Besides, it's quite apparent that she's reached all her dreams since this is her present dream. If we should be so lucky..... lol

As a guy, of course I love Oprah! I watch her show all the time.
NOT!
It is a bit surprising to have this kind of dream. Maybe she did accomplish her dream. Maybe OJ did confess to her, but they didn't broadcast it to avoid complications.

I looked it up on the internet just now because I was courious since I never heard about her thinking that OJ Simpson was guilty. I found it and it said online that she had a regular dream that she had him on her show and he admitted to the killing. That is what made her want to have him on her show to talk about it.Even though she isn't going to have her show nomore she has another show she says called OWN and she wants to have him on that show to talk about it. Her is the url to it http://www.sure-start.com/o-j-simpson-confesses-in-oprahs-dreams-heres-what-happened-17-years-ago/3675326/

It was a surprising dream idea for me too. I had never heard it mentioned before this morning either. I suppose it would be huge if he did. Maybe she will have her chance but I bet he won't confess easily...I bet she has a plan on getting him to confess after all this time.
Thanks for the link!

I just took a look at your link, quite interesting! That will certainly draw a lot of viewers to the types of interviews she is wanting and or planning on conducting.
Thanks for the link!

You welcome. The link was pretty interesting! It would be neat if she could get him to confess. If she does she needs to broadcast it a while before she airs it so more people will watch it. I would be one to watch that.

That's her dream? How sad. To O.J. he is innocent , why would he confess to a crime he didn't commit? And to Oprah? I think he order the murders like a pizza. but He will never confess to it! I hope she can find another dream.

I also heard that about her. No, i don't think she will ever get that dream fulfilled.Don't think o.j. would ever confess to anyone about that. I have never wanted to believe he did it but know i'm in the minority.

i actually had never thought she believed he did it. ive always thought shes quite bias, predudiced even though she tries to hide it. this is a surprise.

I highly doubt that OJ would confess to his crimes for Oprah or anyone else for that matter.... unless of course she pays him an extreme amount of $. Who knows? I for one, believe that he is also guilty of what he was charged. Perhaps one day she could get him to confess and he could be sent to prison for the murder!

Well, whether or not there's a show, O.J. can still (if he chooses to) confess. Now that she has a network that she can do anything with, she can create that avenue for that very confession. She doesn't need a show to have that opportunity.
I remember watching a flashback on one of her recent shows about the day the verdict came out. She was convinced that OJ was guilty, which I am inclined to believe in myself.

i'm afraid Oprah's dream will remain just that since i firmly believe O.J Simpson will go his grave denying he had anything to do with the murders and yes i have heard her comment about this on her previous TV program.
Also i can't understand what satisfaction she would get out of him confessing to the murders, wouldn't that just make her and those who learned about this much more upset and angry? IMO,attempting to cleanse his soul by finally confessing to this horrendous crime, would be much too late and of little value, since in the minds of many many people including myself we already know he is as guilty as sin.

Oprah is not big over here, but I do know about her "retiring". I guess when you're as rich and famous as she is you have to have a dream that is incomprehensible to us mere mortals. I just dream about being rich and infamous.
I also dream about other things, but I cannot print them on here for angelic eyes to see! ;)
