Is the Pnoenix/Scottsdae area being affected by the wildfires?

We are heading to Scottsdale, AZ in two weeks. Does anyone know how close the wildfires are to the metropolitan Phoenix area? I was trying to find a map showing the fires' location and possible spread patterns, but couldn't really find one. We are wondering if the Phoenix area (especially the areas outside Phoenix, such as national or state parks of nature preserves) will in the fires' path? Thanks!

From what I understand they are way south of them....by Serria Vista....and I know this because my grandkids live there....my daughter also has a house there....though they are living in Germany at the present time.

Hopefully you are right--do your daughter and grandkids like living there when they are there?

From what I heard and saw on TV the fires are near the AZ / NM Border in Eastern AZ. Phoenix is in central AZ.

Thanks. . .I knew the fires had started in eastern AZ, but wasn't sure how far they've spread? It gets a little confusing b/c there's the Apache Forest (where I think the fires are) versus the Apache Trail, which is closer to Phoenix. Then there's the Tonto Forest and the Tonto National Monument, which (I think) is the one closer to Phoenix. But the announcers don't always distinguish between them, so it is a little unclear!
