an Awesome Ska band out of Milwaukee!

I know, I know, most people don't listen to ska anymore... even rude boys and rude girls of the passed.
But I still listen to it, and still love it! It's just plain fun music.
My daughter and I went to Summerfest in Milwaukee yesterday. I chose Thursday specifically for my favorite local Ska band, "Something to Do".
They are awesome! Their show is nothing but great fun!
I also got lucky enough to have Kansas playing on the same day, so I got to rock out to 2 of my favorite bands.
That's one of the things I love about living in Eastern Wisconsin... Not only is the biggest music festival in the world only an hour away, but there are tons of smaller music festivals and county fairs all summer long!

Thanks! I love Ska! Sadly, i just realized, this pat year, what genre this music I like is called. It's like industrial... there's such a large variety. I'm gonna check it out.

Well I used to like the squirrel nut zippers. And I love Kansas. I grew up with Kansas and other bands that rocked. I like Ska music, like you said, it's plain simple fun music. I miss going to those big concerts years ago. They do however have free concerts here in Brooklyn down in Coney Island. Next month Cheap Trick will be playing. I am going.
