Does this happen to you? I often receive information just when I have hit the frustration wall tying to find the answer to something. Like when we needed a foot surgeon for Hubby's foot, I don't like to just look in the phone book for someone like that and our family Doctor really didn't know who to recomend. The next day we get a phone call from an old friend we hadn't seen for a while. He had just finished foot surgury 6 months ago. He mentioned this, (he knew nothing about Hubby's poor foot) but there was the info we so badly needed. Would you say this was a case of "Ask and ye shell receive?"

Most definitely. Same thing will happen to me. I might be searching for something, its like thats all I can think about and then BAM, it happens....I find the answer or someone will mention something about what I need to know.
We've been having problems with our SUV and I kept trying to find answers on the net, our mechanic couldnt fix the problem, then a friend of mine who has a SUV just like us happened to call and mention her trouble with her SUV and she mentions she found a great mechanic....Problem solved!!
I dont know if its heaven sent or if out guides can somehow have the right person on our path, but I just believe it'll happen and it does. I think you do too!!
Im happy you managed to find the right foot surgeon for your hubby. Hope he's doing well now.

What a blessing!
I wish that happened to me all the time but it doesn't. It does happen to me from time to time and it is a great help and great blessing when it does. I am glad it happens to you all of the time, just wish it'd happen to me more! Of course I also think I need hit over the head with a textbook or something lol.
In any case, glad you were able to find a good doctor, I don't blame you for being so cautious!

I think so! It happens to me often and I sure believe that it is the Universe sending us what we need just at the right time. I find it works best when I put whatever it is completely out of my mind and focus on something else; before you know, there is my answer or thing I needed!

I guess you can treat it as something like what the saying means.
Sometimes when a person asks, incidents happen that leads to the person receiving the desired outcome. It happened to me once, too, but in a more common situation. I needed a new job because I was resigning from my previous one and I got one immediately. To add more, what I got is *way* easier than my previous one.

That always happens. It's like the old saying, when you're looking for something you can never find it, but when you're not looking, it's right these. I hate when that happens but it just seems thats the way it always is.

Things often "drop from the sky" when we least expect them and after we've exhausted all our options. I think God helps those who help themselves. It's a great system that requires effort, even if it's fruitless, and is rewarded in the end!
