What would you do if you have a friend and his mother is sick up to the point to stay in the hospital in the other side of the country fighting for her life? the doctors said that she has a little possibility to be better, but is too small, but I dont know how can i help him! I just pray a lot but the feeling that I have inside me is horrible, cause i cant do nothing more than these! I dont wanna to bother him, cause I know that this moment is too personal and private so I dont want to disturbe him. apart of all, I have more feelings to him, so is worst for me! I know that God can do whatever he wants, but what can i do in this moment??
have you ever passed a similar situation?

hi alilin your English is fine and I do understand. All you can do
besides praying is being there for your friend and tell him if there is anything you can do to help him through this bad time, you are his person. sure personal and private, but most people who are hurting like that actually love it that someone cares for how they 'are feeling.
Maybe he might want you to run some errands for him, things to help him in this crisis with his mom. I would not be afraid to ask as he is your friend so ask if there is anything YOU could do to help him trough this rough patch. that way even if he declined you would feel you did try to do something to help a friend over a bad time in his own life.

Well your right, all you can do is pray for him, and visit occasionally. I hope he gets better. What disease does he have? He's on life support right? I hope he fights through this horrible disease.

I would just tell him that you are there for him if he needs you and leave it at that. If you don't say anything at all he will think that you don't care but if you say something small and then leave it, it is then up to him to come to you and he might need to just talk to you but you need to be there for him if you say you are going to be. Hope it all works out for you

Praying for your friend and for his mother is the best thing that you can do for him at this moment in time. It might not seem like you are really doing very much for him, but every prayer that a person gets during a time that they are suffering is helping them a whole lot.
I know that I've had a friend that has lost several family members in the past year and I still keep them in my prayers.
