Ok, so now the last recall is over. The public sector unions failed to buy our State Senate, the balance of power between the left and right remained unchanged. So now can we just get passed the moronic recall crap?

I wonder what the total cost was for this hogwash.

That came to my mind as well. I am sure there was someplace the money spent on this recall could have been spent that would have done the good citizens of Wisconsin more good.

So far, the numbers I've seen: $30 million directly on campaigning $8 million on increased police and other security at the capitol building.

The people have spoken. It probably should not have come to this, and now it is time to get down to the business of governing the state wisely. It is good that people are allowed to speak, however, no matter how dumb it seems.

Since the Unions are having to lay off workers to cut expenses and workers no longer have to pay dues the Union officals may be too busy collecting the dues and trying to keep the flock in line to worry about another fight.

I think that once the union members actually have to pay their own dues, instead of having it taken out of their pay checks, we may see more and more people opting out of the union. That's what they were afraid of and why they called the whole thing "union busting." They don't like that people will have more choices.
