Israel is being attacked again from all sides. There are so many stories it is hard to pick out which one is the most important. The one that impressed me the most was the one about the UN. When Gaza started lobbing rockets and attacking, the UN opted to LEAVE Gaza. Yes, once again the UN tucks its tail between its legs and runs instead of attempting to help Israel. They are afraid that Israel will retaliate. So far they have not. They are just picking up the pieces and preparing to bury their dead.
Egypt swears that none of the people slipped through their security, however their were folks in Egyptian uniforms shooting at buses. Yeah, must have been fake uniforms.
All of this is in preparation for the "Palestinian" state vote at the UN in September. You would think that these people would be on their best behavior to impress the World just before this vote. Instead they are terrorizing Israel and preparing for the "Annihilation" to come.

When the UN created Israel the Jewish people were told that the could have the land they could defend. The Arabs have tried several times to take the land but have lost every time. Now what they couldn't get through war they will try to get from the UN which is controlled by dictators.
There were reports that during the last conflict between Israel and Lebanon the UN Peace Keepers allowed groups trying to fire rockets on Israel to set up next to their positions so Israel could not return fire without hitting the Peace Keepers and what did the UN do? I beleive they reminded all sides that the UN did not take sides.
There will be peace in the middle east when Israel is defeated or her enemies are defeated

Why does Israel need to be defeated and Islam allowed to tyrannize the mid east? May I remind bobmnu that Israel is a democracy and allows its citizens, both Arab and Jew, the same liberties and freedoms that most in the west enjoy? We don't need to 'nation build' with Israel, they are doing fine all by themselves in that respect. I am appalled to read such a line from someone who enjoys his own freedom here in the USA, to say that the ONLY nation in the mid east that does not kill homosexuals or women or 'infidels' and who has free elections and who allows freedom of religion and speech should be defeated by a ideology that is so restrictive of freedom and that is determinded to not only destroy Israel but the rest of western civilization as well. Surely you did not actually mean that Bobmnu?

As I type this Israel has responded. And as usual they most likely will be penalized or sanctioned.
Personally, I feel they have every right to blow up anyone or anything that comes against them. My compassion is being tested, I do feel for the Palestinian people who are being LED into a ghastly war for political power by their leaders.
I would pray for a perfect peace, one where both Israel and the Palestinian people have what they need and no one wanted to destroy anyone else. That cannot be when the leaders of Hamas and the PLO both want to destroy Israel.

The only "True Palestinians" are the Jewish People...try reading a real history of the area not a re~written history.
I find it hard to feel sorry for mothers who are willing to strap bombs on to little children and send them into markets to blow up Jews. Or women who should be setting an example for their little ones also straping on bombs to blow up Jews.
Gaza is not suffering if they can start shipping out the food being sent in as gifts for their supposedly "starving" to Syria. Check out the websites that show their 5star hotels and fancy restaruants. Look at the lovely resorts and fancy shopping districts....

Adoniah, I used the term Palestinian because it is the one most people understand and know. I have read the 'true history' and am in complete agreement with you on this matter.
My statement was intended to show that the people who are led by terrorists are suffering not because of Israel, but because of those leaders. Israel has a right to defend themselves against terror.
I fully support Israel's actions against Hamas and the terrorist who are intent upon destroying her. The 'Palestinian' people (those who are in Gaza and in refugee camps elsewhere are being misled and lied to as well. It is the 'leadership' of these people who are lying and who are not only intent on killing Jews, but their own people by telling them these lies. Many of them are in disagreement with their leadership but can do nothing to stop them. Unfortunately, none of the money the west doles out to them, reaches the people who need it. It is used for more terror and mayhem against Israel. I agree with you, Adoniah. My heart is with Israel in this, but there is room for the misled and abused Arab as well.

The terrorists in Syria and Gaza get a free pass in the press. Even here in America, we are not permitted the truth about who are the bad guys and what the goals of these bad guys are.
I don't know how to change that, except to do as you are doing; proclaim it and hope that some believe us. There is a direct link from Hezbollah, the PLO and Iran's nuclear intentions. Syria's leadership as well, run by the very groups who promise to destroy Israel and the US. When will people wake up to the fact the world is in great danger. Al Queda is not the danger, Iran's terrorist dictator and his support of terror in the mid east is.
The common folks in the US weren't told about what was going on in Europe in the 30s and 40s either. The leadership knew, and chose not to publicize it.
So much is propaganda and lies when it comes to reporting on the State of Israel and her enemies surrouonding her. How is it that the Israelis are the bad guys in every encounter and her enemies (who promise to blow up the USA as well) are always right? The truth is there, people CHOOSE not to see it.
