Today it is Sept 11, 2011, 10 years from the horrible incident that happened in New York city, terrorists attack on our soil. On these days, to memorize this horrible event, radio station, Television, even newspaper stating New York city, Washington D.C. all stay alerts on terrorist attacks, and security breach. I would agree with that, and we should be cautious all the time. You won't know when the terrorist will attack again. Anyway, what is the fuss with all other people too? If we do what we normally do, and the police and citizens work together, those terrorists won't be causing threat to us at all.

Horrible things happen everywhere. In my country we also had a 9/11. It was in 1973, the end of democracy. We had a dictator for decades, many, many people were tortured and killed, other people fled from the country and lived in exile. I think that as compared to what happened in your country, our 9/11 was worse. A whole generation was lost or shaken, one way or another.
We must not forget, but we must move on. It seems to me, looking it from the outside, that the US got paralized by the attack of the Toweers and is still living around them. The safety measures at airports are absurd and will not prevent terrorists from doing whatever they want to do. Yet many tourists will not visit the beautiful places you have because normal people feel threatened by your fear.
Terrorism is everywhere. Terrorism is attacking another country stepping over its sovereignity.

But terrorism is not that simple like you want to believe, there are much more event going under the public view and behind in close door than what you see on TV. If terrorist organization can infiltrate the highest level of U.S government, then they will have the upper hand in carrying out attack inside our land under our police and citizens very nose without detection. It all have to depend on how seriously the administration view on the threat base on spy agencies collected intels. and how willing they want to act to prevent another new wave of terror from taking place. If the highest level of government refuse to act proactively, then al-Qaida will not relent in carry out more attacks inside US soil in the future.

I will never forget that day. It was horrible. I hope that our government and nation can protect us from letting something like that ever happen again.
