If you are a Netflix members, who also notice the price hike on its membership fee monthly, you probably already received an apology letter from NetFlix CEO. He personally apology for the price hike for the recent months, and it is not his intention to anger thousands to millions of Netflix members. He admitted that he mess up, and he hope that to provide better service to all Netflix members nationwide. Personally, I might accept this apology letter, but I have to consider my budget also. Even he sincerely apologize to all of us, I might still have to switch to other service with better service and lower fee sooner. What Netflix CEO has done to apologize is a correct step forward, when you made a mistake, you should admitted it and apologize it.

Well, at least he did that much. I have not received an apology letter yet. Hopefully I do. I do like netflix but I understand everyones complaints. I had the plan where you get a dvd and the watch now feature together. When they changed it, I could no longer keep the dvd option. So, now I only get the watch now option. And sadly enough, it is still the same price as the package I had. They made a real big mistake.

Yes. We also did like that. discontinued dvd option. Of course instant viewing in netflix is really good.

Well, I will keep the watch now plan for now. I just hope they get things fixed and figured out. I did also join RedBox. That is where I could go to any kiosk and rent a movie on the fly for just a dollar. So, that will replace my dvd option from Netflix. After all, I do not rent many dvd's as it is, so I figured that the RedBox was a good alternative.

The price hike made me, a potential customer, not want to use their service so they lost me. I'll not be getting a Netflix subscription anytime soon.

Too little too late. Even though the price hike didn't go into affect anymore, it still left a bad taste in my mouth. It also gave me a chance to evaluate my netflix account and realize we haven't found hardly any new / good movies on Streaming for a long time. Plus we have trouble finding time to watch the DVDs so we don't get as many a month as we'd like.
I heard they lost 3 million members. It's time for another business to jump in and offer something better :) I really prefer streaming, but Netflix isn't working out it's deals with all the movie companies so a lot of movies won't be available on streaming for a long time.

Yes. an apology letter may pacify at least 20% people and they may not switch over from netflix. Are they reducing the rate or they will continue with the hiked rate?
