Honesty beat Arrogance!

Hi... I have always loathed arrogance too. Arrogance expresses over confidence, over confidence implies small mistakes which are ignored, this ignorence implies imperfection at what you do; which results in failure... Honesty is beauty! I mean, if one is honest then one doesn't have to lie. One lie can make one speak 100 more lies and one has to remember 'em all... If one is honest, it will reflect in his attitude and manners. Honest one rise in the end to be the Noble ones. Yes, honesty always wins...

I think sometimes we do or say something with arrogance not knowingly. It's tolerable I think if we can deliver arrogance in a most discreet manner. Just find the best prudent words to deliver it. And it should be said in a tactful, not obvious motives of being conceited so that you won't judged and tagged as high and mighty. Well, I also hate snobbish-overconfident typical-arrogant. They talk as in they are the best of the best. Well again, those talk the most arrogantly can be the most stupid person on Earth. Why not, they are just there to talk about themselves. Ask them about something sensible, they won't level up *lol I think we can be honest with a slight of arrogance with it. Arrogance also means pride. But just be on a tolerable level so that it can't be on a negatives. Generally, yes honesty beats arrogance. It's like positve and negatives. Honesty is the positive, arrogance is the negative. And who likes the negatives? not unless you'll find or convert that negative into being a positive.

I truly can not stand arrogant people....I wonder sometimes how they acquire that attribute? I mean how do they get so puffed up! I tend to steer away from people like that!

Where did you see this Sarah?! I haven't seen any of this victory over arrogance in my line of work, as most people here think that they are smooth talkers. And somehow it comes off as just plain arrogance to me. I can't stand people who think they know everything.

Honesty always beats arrogance. Hands down. I do not like it when people push my buttons and bring me to the point of anger, those are the arrogant people that do that to me. Honesty is the best policy. I have always been honest and extremely blunt. Some people just cannot handle that behavior. Oh well.

I fall in with your views.The honest woman is actually a very modest and unassuming sort of person,which is the reason why she can beat the arrogant one .Over here, there is an old saying" haughtiness invites disaster,humility receives benefit".Golden saying it is!
