The swindle of the printers

Dear friends, today I want to write this review by telling you about a specific hardware device, which in my opinion, especially in maintenance, does not seem at best a product of economics.
This product is the printer of the computer.
You should know that I've owned several models of inkjet printers, and once sold out, the problem repeated itself: the new cartridges cost as much as to change directly to the printer, and then what to do?
I also bought a laser printer Epson. you should know that the dealer gave me this speech before selling: "The laser printer is fine, but watch the toner! Everyone cost € 100 and this model contains a 4!
So once again I ask, what should I do? The result was that the laser printer I have the gift to a friend of mine who was willing to pay for the toner and I was momentarily lacking.
This made ??me realize that underneath it all, and sorry if I use some strong words, each printer has its cheating on the maintenance of inks.
At the time I bought a simple Epson printer inkjet, just to use it to print simple documents which I need it immediately. It is also a scanner.
When I run out of cartridges ... only then will decide what to do!
What is your opinion about the printers ?

I used an Epson printer for years and it worked very well for me. I now have a HP because I wanted one with a scanner on it. It works well also.

Hi alberello,
It's been months now since we thought of buying a printer. But it seems really hard to decide which ones to buy. And reading your post makes me feel that you know a lot about how printer works. A lot of mylotter suggested to buy a HP printer, even if the cartridges are costly, they said that it will last long.
And I agree on you that each of them has cheating on their ink maintenance. This is why most people have the hard time deciding which printer they will buy. I always wants to check first if the inks will be costly and if it will be worth the price.

For my own opinion and this is only for personal home consumers (this varies with commercial or business consumers), laser printers are still best for me (but not with multi-functioned laser printers). Laser's ink toners consume last longer than with liquid ink. Ink toners or jetink printers dries-up if not used for a longer period of time, and also the metal strip metals get clogged or corroded. I do like HP printer products (black jetink only) during 1990's because it is almost incomparable print like with a laser printer. But when HP colored inject came around and with multi-function, I'm so disappointed of what HP have done on their brand of inkjet printers. Not only HP but others also like Epson, Canon. Unless your printing company and prints a lot of stuffs but instead of using ink printer cartridges use CISS (Continues Ink Suply System). But if you are just using jetink printers at home, and don't print a lot of colored stuffs everyday, my opinion don't use inkjet or ink printers.
If need to have colored prints, just go to printer shops.
If really need for printing texted documents or some drafts prints, you can just have a one tone (or black tone) only printers, well an inkjet printers will do. But black tone laser printer still the best, cheaper and economically. Especially with Brothers product line of laser printers, they are really the best for me.
Brother laser printers also best for their colored laser printer models. Some models use LED heat transfer.
If you gonna look for laser printer always find with duplexer functions. Which can print both sides of the paper. To have less consumption for the papers.

I know this but don't understand it either.
It's known also that the cheaper the printer is the more expensive the toner is.
So before buying one first check out the price of the toner and how much you need to buy. Also ask yourself for what you will need that printer. Just printing doucuments there is no need to buy one with all those extra's. Printing your own pictures/photo's is not cheaper (toner/photo paper and the time you need cost way more as ordering them online).
I also always print in fast/concept (the less inkt possibility there is) so never normal it saves a lot of ink I don't let the empty toner refill, once did that it was mess.
Also.. if you need a new toner buy them if they are in sale.
