Selling 'for repair' items on eBay?

Have you ever sold electronics (or any other thing) 'for repair' on eBay? I'm curious to know what your experiences are. I bought a 'dud' Blackberry Curve on eBay a while ago for $100, stupidly did not test it out before the return policy ended, and then turned around and sold it for $15 on eBay "for repair" (meaning parts of it didn't work, and would have to be repaired). Have you ever sold anything 'for repair' on eBay?

I've actually not sold anything on eBay but I did once buy a VCR that "was not working". It was only $20 which I thought was cheap (found out later that VCRs are not expensive any more). I was happy to pay that much and get the appliance repaired as I thought that was better than buying a new one. Turns out there was a tape stuck inside and it was irrepairable.

I'm really iffy on this subject but I may at a considerably low price on some old electronics I have. The iffy bit is that I see a lot of misleading products that are "for parts or repair" and kinda see it as cluttering at times when looking for working ones amidst them. People don't tend to just put in the title that the item is not in working order leaving you having to check the condition of them in each page. If I ever do sell a "for repair" or "for parts" product, I'll be sure to put it up front in the title.

Anything that I ever sold on ebay was in pwo...I did buy a phone one time that was described as "Immaculate" and turned out to be badly scuffed and with the camera not working, and got nowhere resolving it with the seller ..it WAS sold with the sales warranty still in place,so I returned it to the electrical store whose service department described the problem as being water damage, thus invalidating the warranty..buh bye phone... I think I'd rather fix a problem myself than dump it off on somebody else and rip them off..
