Lost my credit card last night...

That I did. I have never lost a credit card before and it just makes me wonder how it happened. I know exactly the last place I had it, it was at a bar where I paid for my tab with my card. And then POOF. Don't worry, I ended up cancelling it but I feel like a total loser for doing something like this. A total scatterbrain (not like that's news to me). I checked online and it doesn't appear that anyone has used it. A part of me wonders if it's somewhere really dumb, like in my sober cab's back seat? Or buried under the snow outside of the bar? I guess we'll never know... But when I was at the gas station, sifting through my purse in a panic, it was the most stressful thing ever. Luckily I had some cash to pay for my stuff with but wow - I have been using that credit card for quite a bit lately.... It will get re-issued probably in about 10 days but at the same time, I am pretty broke as far as credit available on my other card and in my checking account...So we will have to see how it plays out until next Friday (pay day). AGH. Have you done this lately?

I haven't! But I know how sickening that feeling is. The closest I could relate to is this memory stick that I always have in my pocket. It has some important information in it that is equivalent to losing a credit card, if somebody picked it up and used my identity. I did lose it one day, in the morning, and found it half-buried in snow at the parking at work at the end of the day. This post is 2 days old, so just hold on. You got 8 more days before the replacement card comes in the mail.
