i am always in a dilemma every time i open my closet. i have different styles of clothes but i can't choose what to wear; how to mix and match. I end up wearing what's "safe," ie. a plain T-shirt and jeans. I am skinny (but my friends tell me that i am sexy) and i've been thinking of wearing skirts but i'm scared that might look like Olive Oyl. I hope you could give me tips in choosing the right dress for my skinny body.

Are you saying you have twiggy legs? Oh man if only I had that problem! I have tree trunk legs
. I would suggest wearing jeans - you really can't go wrong! Go shopping and see what flatters your butt and legs. I feel like we all have different styles that work for us. I think skinnys/boot legs and dark colors look better/slimming on me. I like a brand of jeans a lot called Bulldog I think? And also Bandolino, Gap, Banana Republic, & Luckys. But I know girls who look really good in flares. So I guess it just depends on your body type.

I'm not really that good in fashion but I think skirts still go great with skinny people. Well, that's my opinion. Besides, if you could carry jeans really well, a skirt wouldn't be a problem then. I mean, jeans look great on women who are fortunate to have a good backside no matter how skinny their body is, and I'm sure you have one since your friends had attested that you're sexy, and this also goes true with skirts. Oh, well, it's just my opinion. Like what people say, if you're not comfortable with a style of clothing, then don't wear it :)

I agree with Ricki, wear what makes you feel good. Pick out your best features and wear items that bring them out. Go to a nice clothing store where you have sells persons to help you and ask them how to flatter your body style. You can just try on a few items and see how they fit and feel (no requirement to purchase). Take what you learn home and apply to your own closet. Dressing nice makes you feed nice, don't be affraid to create your own look.
