My name is Richard because my father is Ricardo ^^. It's just a variation. The important thing is that we have a name :), it does not need to be flashy. Of course, parents should be responsible in naming their children because it is something that their kids will carry for a lifetime.

As you might have guessed from the name I use here in Mylot, my name is Sylvia. The name comes from the Latin Silva, which means a forest and I do like that name! It makes me think of the environment, greenery and renewal! Yes, I am happy with my name and would not like to change it!

My parents didnt name me, My dad was working abroad when i was born and my mom got unconscious from giving birth to me. My Uncle who is my dad's brother, talk with the doctors and gave me my name. I wont give you my real name but my name means an Eagle. I hate my name though. I am the only sibling in my family who is not named by my parents, My parents are suckers for German names so all of my siblings have German names.
