My beloved Sony Ericsson C510 was lost months ago. It was a gift for me by my aunt who is working in Hong Kong. I was really angry about myself in losing it. I guess what matters in life is not the price of things but rather the value of it that really counts the most.

Yes, i think you are saddened more because it was given by a loved one and not because it is your cell phone. I guess what really matters most is the sentimental value. Try to take care of your belongings more, most specially your things that has sentimental value to you.

I have never lost a phone, and I don't know where I would be if this ever did happen to me. I have a very expensive phone, and it is not insured, so this means that there is no way that I would be able to afford another phone like it if I did happen to lose it for whatever reason. It must be bad for you losing that phone if it was a present from your Aunt, but I always believe that everything happens for a reason, and this might have happened to try and show you that you need to be a little more careful with the things that you own.

It can really be devastating whenever you lose something given to you by someone special. I have lost a phone already not only once but twice. One phone was given to me by my husband. I accidentally left it at a restaurant but sad to say when I came back, it is not there anymore. The second time was when it actually got snatched from me. It's not only my cellphone by my whole bag. I cried but my husband told me that everything has its Karma and probably the person who snatched it needs it more than I do. My husband did buy me a new phone but I still can't forget that day.

There are few honest people today. Some are just in "Finders Are Keepers" mode.

I lost a cellphone in a taxi once. I think it fell from my jacket's pocket. Anyway, I lost it. And I contacted the phone, and the taxi driver answered. So I asked him if he could return it since I have important data in there. I tried to do a meet up with him in his convenient time. And he said he couldn't because his family didn't want him to return the cellphone. And he quickly hanged up.
I tried calling my phone again, this time it was a girl, maybe his daughter perhaps, and she berated me for calling and asking for the phone back. I was like, what?
I called again to say my piece and this time, the phone was unavailable.
So as a result, I went to the NTC to block my phone.

I will have to admit that I have never lost a cellphone, as I am pretty careful with mine, however, when my daughter was living for me for a time, I ended up dripping my cellphone in the Walmard parking lot, but I didn't know it, and fortunately, my daughter had a call from my phone, where a lady had found it and called the first number she saw in my phone. I guess I was fortunate enough to get it back tghe same day, as the lady could have stolen it and it would have been gone. Since my cellphone is the only phone I have, I have to make sure that I don't lose it at all, as I might not get it back the next time, and the one I have now, I have only had for a little more than a week, so it is still new yet. I hope that you find a replacement for youre cellphone that you lost. Take care, and happy mylotting.

yes, i lost the first cellphone given to me as a gift from my mom.
it was early morning and i was alone on a shed waiting for a bus to go to classmate's house to do a project. someone pointed a knife at me at my back, he was a male, and asked for my cellphone and wallet and told me not to shout or else he will kill me.
it was a traumatic experience but im still alive....thats all that counts.

Yeah, I did encounter the lost of cellphone before. I dropped my cellphone when I had my dinner in KFC. Luckily, the person who found it used the phone and called to my friend. My friend informed me and I went back to get it back. It's not a good phone but I bought it with my first salary. :D
